Three of our group enjoyed BBQ beef Brisket, and BBQ ribs. I order Shrimp Quesadilla and loved every bite! Nice walk from the Sheraton Mountain vista in Avon.

Average ribs. 1st and foremost, to soft which indicates they wrap the meat in foil or plastic after it comes off the smoker. There is no hint of a rub? Good smoke flavor but overall something is missing. Pork is always good. This pork is okay just not off the smoker must eat ribs. The Bbq sauces, weak and will not have me coming back. No reason to eat here.

Service was quick. My wife’s chicken was good. The Hunter Stew was disgusting, nothing close to a stew, just cut up ends of brisket in a broth flavored with BBQ sauce.

Service was good, but the smoked meat was terribly disappointing. Brisket slices were beef-jerkey thin and dry throughout. Smoked turkey was dry and tough. Not really what I expect from a quality smoker. The flavor was good, but they killed the meat by completely drying it out. You can get much better smoked meats at Moe’s for much less money.

After a long day of skiing, we were looking forward to Montana’s. We walked in and were seated right away since most of the tables were available. It took about 10 minutes for someone to come over and take our order. The waiter was very nice. We ordered some salads and wings for appetizers and BBQ for the main course. After an hour of waiting, no appetizers had appeared and the waiter ensured us it was going to be out “any minute” and the kitchen was “backed up” multiple times. We finally walked out of the restaurant. No manager ever came by or any additional staff. I read many reviews on Montana’s and it seemed promising. This was by far the worst experience I’ve had in Beaver Creek in 8 years. I’m still baffled a salad takes longer than an hour to prepare…

Amazing smoked meats (I had ribs and pulled pork), and great sides (Mac n cheese and grilled Brussels sprouts). Plenty of beer on tap with a wide variety to choose from. The atmosphere was warm and cozy, everything was clean and the staff was exceptionally nice and helpful. I came back the next morning for breakfast with some friends, and we left completely satisfied. They ordered the breakfast skillets, which are huge and made any way you want. I had eggs benedict, featuring perfectly poached eggs. Definitely coming back here.

Food was great. Mac n Cheese the bomb!!! Service was horrible. Waited almost 5 minutes just waiting for the hostess. A waitress came and told me I had to wait for the hostess, which was fine but not sure what took her so long. It was 7:00 on a Saturday, but was not busy at all. Hostess sat me outside and gave me a menu. Three different waitstaff came out and completely ignored me finally the waiter (Kaleb) came back out to help me. He proceeded to tell me that the hostess and another waitress both said they did not seat me and had no idea how long I had been sitting out there or where I came from. He was very friendly and apologetic. However I had to ask for my drink twice , a to go container twice and finally had to go inside to get my ticket after he rang me up. Again he was very nice but full of excuses as to why he kept forgetting everything I asked for. Very frustrating and disappointing because the food is good.

Being from Texas, barbecue is very important to me and I love trying it wherever I go so I can learn new tricks and methods. I’ve worked in the barbecue business for 5 years so I’d say I know a good deal about it, and this didn’t register too high on my list. I got The Texan, and it was nothing special. The beef had no flavor, either from rubs or the smoke itself almost as if it was just cooked in an oven, on top of that, every other bite was fat. I like a little bit of marble to my brisket, but that was ridiculous. The sauce needs reworking too. You don’t label a sauce as mild and then follow it up with the words “sweet and tangy vinegar”. It wasn’t mild in the slightest. The slaw may need some rethinking too.The service was good, and the food came quickly, but it just didn’t taste up to par. The joint I work at now is is top 25 in the world for what it pulls from its smokers, and for what comes out here, they wouldn’t make it past the preliminary rounds.

Went with my boyfriend. Place was very empty, which was fine as it was a Monday night at the end of ski season. Had the beef brisket. It was tender and the flavor was spot on. All of the barbecue sauces were delicious. Our bartender was extremely friendly, helpful, and kept us entertained with good conversations. He said he was a native, and had a lot of great tips on things to do and see on our trip. The bloody Mary was to die for. I even got the recipe! The infused vodka is FANTASTIC!

When we walked in there was no one there. We were seated and after several minutes they took our drink order. Took almost 20 minutes to get drinks. Then when she came back my husband was in the bathroom and she asked if I knew what he wanted. I said I did. She said she would be right back and proceeded to go takedrink orders from 2 New tables and then take their orders and go to the kitchen and get their drinks. This took at least another 15 minutes. Then she finally took our order. It took 30 minutes for our food to come out and both tables that were there at least 20 minutes after us got there food significantly before us. It then took another 20 minutes after we were done eating for anyone to come take or plates and get our bill. There was no apology for the wait or anything. We stopped here driving through the mountains on I 70 and we won’t on future trips. It took over an hour and a half to get mediocre food and be ignored for most of our meal. Also, my kid who loves coleslaw wouldn’t eat it. It wasn’t sweet at all. Disappointing for sure.
