I came across this location for lunch and I called in my order of the small tuna fish sandwich and a side order of fries. When I arrived I parked on the street in front. I walked in to a midsized deli. The food was ready and I paid and left. When I got home I ate and it’s been a long time since I had a good tuna sandwich. It was very tasty and the fries were ok. The meal was super affordable and I enjoyed.

This place really is great. If you’re looking for friendly service and great food, this place is it. My favorite item on the menu is the chicken cutlet sandwich with everything on it and looking at the other reviews, I’m not alone. Honestly, I’ve never had a bad meal here and the price is beyond reasonable.

The first time I ordered the penne pasta special..delicious..4 meatballs…the second time(a week later) , a disgusting left over meal with 2 stale meatballs. If you’re looking for consistency, look elewhere.

NO ONE makes a sandwich like Taste of Italia. My family has been eating here for almost 50 years (since their old Broadway location). I moved out of NJ 15 years ago and returned for a visit this week. If anything, their sandwiches are even bigger and better than before. They use the highest quality meats and cheeses, and don’t skimp on anything. Friendly staff & great food!
