My new favorite shabu shabu now overtaking the previous favorite Gom shabu shabu. One reason, the vegetable, sides and condiment bar. If you just want meat and sauce, there is nothing wrong with Gom…it’s good. But if you are like me and want a variety of ingredients in that soup with different soup base options…this is the place. It’s all about the sides! My vegetable soup base had so much umami even my wife was surprised because I didn’t have to add any sauce to make it savoury. The service was amazing. One thing I don’t like about Gom is having to ask for more vegetables, they kind of make you feel like you’re inconveniencing them because they are busy. At 9292 shabu the manager made time to say hi and they were happy to serve you. The MANAGER…nice touch!

9292 shabu is one of the best hot pot places I have been to so far! They do buffet style for the veggies, sauces and noodles. Meats are ordered at the table with the server. The list of protein they have is almost exactly the same as their 9292 Korean BBQ (which isn’t a bad thing). The quality of the food is and they have a great selection of soju, beer and sodas 🙂

Our server Eunjin went above and beyond. Her energy was immaculate and the service was spectacular. The food was also fresh and incredibly delicious. The veggie bar was impressive and also had an amazing sauce selection. When we go back we hope she serves us again!

Fresh, quality protein, vegetables and noodles selections. I was pleasantly surprised that the meat quantity and quality of meat is the on subsequent orders, unlike most buffet restaurants.

I went with my wife to a shabu-shabu restaurant, and the meat was excellent. It was the best quality meat I’ve ever had. Additionally, the staff were extremely friendly. The only downside was that there weren’t many vegetable options, which was a bit disappointing. However, the main highlight was the fresh and delicious meat. I would definitely love to go there again.

My favorite hot pot spot in the area, the spicy maru broth is top notch and the meat cuts are consistently high quality and cut perfectly thin. Perhaps a more premium experience than others, but well worth it.

Great hot pot! Very nice and clean. Personal pots for each person at the table. Great meat, service and flavors. The house 9292 sauce was fantastic. It had a little heat to it, but also an amazing flavor. Will definitely return.

I dined out here on a Friday night with my vegetarian friend, and to our surprise it wasn’t busy. The price is the same regardless of if you get meat or not, but the selection of veggies at the buffet makes up for this. The meat is all you can eat and the server was attentive and quick to bring me more when I asked.
