Very fun experience. Might be the best Jamaican spot in/ near Raleigh. Definitely unique. Great portions of oxtail, tasty peas and rice, cabbage tasty as well. Jerk chicken sauce packs a kick. Some awesome variety of drinks and very welcoming staff. I look forward to frequenting here more. Definitely felt full up after eating and the oxtails met my expectations 🙂 oh and the fresh plantains are on point !! Thank you

This restaurant is truly a diamond in the rough. My go-to is the Jerk chicken. Ample portions with delicious, tender, and perfectly seasoned chicken. Side of yellow rice with cabbage and carrots make a delectable compliment to the meat, but shine well on their own and deserve just as much recognition. My husband tries to fight me for mine every time. Long story short, great people who make incredible food. Wake Forest needs more restaurants who put the love, care, and heart into their food like 9.19 does.

Absolutely delicious!!!! My favorite is the curry chicken and the jerk chicken with the rice and peas or yellow rice. I recently tried their coco bread and it was delicious. I’ve limited myself to stopping in twice a month now but at first it was every week. The customer service is wonderful they are so polite and very kind and go above and beyond for their customers. Can’t wait to go back again.

A friend and I ate here for dinner, this was their first time, and I am a regular. We were catered to all evening, and the waiter was efficient, smiled, and friendly, and gave us all sorts of other choices. It’s a little pricey for two people, but it was worth every dime!!

We were in town for the weekend and found this great place. We had the Jerk chicken, Curry chicken, and Ox tail. Everything was delicious and you get a lot of food. It is well seasoned and tender. The staff are very friendly and efficient. The place is clean. We will definitely be back when we are in the area again.

Awesome local spot for some Caribbean food. Portion sizes are big and the price can’t be beat. Well worth visiting if you’re in the mood for some Jamaican food. Highly recommend the oxtail.
