We discovered 8th Street pizza as we like yo explore different pizza restaurants. It is now on our favorites list! Great pizza!! And I think it’s cool that they use paper straws. That really brings back some memories. The dining area is small but we’ve always had a place to sit. There is some outdoor seating also. I love that it is in the old part of New Albany.

We tried 8th Street Pizza today for the first time after having seen pictures on Facebook that looked really good. It was extremely good pizza. The kitchen was very clean. It’s an open glass concept so you can see everything that they do. We tried the all meat pizza, the veggie, the cheese bread and a couple of cannolis. I would get all of them again. They were all very good, nothing was burnt or over baked, everything had cheese and toppings. We’ve had a lot of pizza all over this country and all over the world; some good-some bad, and I cannot find fault in any of the things that we ordered from 8th St Pizza.

Staying in New Albany while attending the National Farm Machinery Show we decided to try 8th Street Pizza our first night here. Right off the bat I’ll say they check all the boxes for a dining experience. First, their menu has a nice variety of options plus you can build your own pizza. Secondly, I couldn’t believe how inexpensive it was, rarely can two people dine for under $20. Third, the help was courteous friendly. Fourth, our pizza was delicious, haven’t had a crust this good in a long time and the sauce had a nice zest. Finally, we dined in and it would have been nice to have real silverware but I get why they don’t. They were busy with carry-outs which shows how popular they are. I give them .

Enjoyed the pizzas and salads. Unfortunately, when we were there, only 1 employee was working. The others arrived at noon. They only serve Pepsi products. Everything was served to go style, but we sat and ate there. The pizza was great. I got the slab (1 piece) with drink. Others got the 8th street special. Lots of toppings!

Edit: The pizza never looks like this anymore, unfortunately. Hardly any toppings anymore, even when I order extra everything and try to get it back to like the picture I posted. Dont ask for well done. It will come completely burnt. It’s really sad im having to update this review. I also get an attitude from the lady whenever i ask to purchase more peppers. I dont understand why, i always offer to pay for them, and i always tip good on my carry out order. I added a picture of my last pizza i ordered

Pretty decent local pizza shop. Wish their tomato sauce was more pureed instead of small chunks of tomatos. Would definitely eat here more. For now I will stick to the BBQ sauce on pizza.

Got two big pizza’s and some garlic bread. They cut some of the slices in two to make it easier for my kids to eat which was great. Was our first time there and will definitely be back to eat here.
