This is a wonderful little coffee shop to get some work done! Plenty of people on laptops, studying, or just catching up over a delicious cup of coffee with a friend. There are outlets available with some of the seating against the walls. They also have large tables if you want to work on a project with a larger group. The windows really let the sun shine through, so it’s not too dark like some other small coffee shops. The drinks were great. The specialty drinks are on the right side of the coffee shop on a blackboard-don’t miss ‘em!

Stopped here for a cup of coffee to go. While waiting, I noticed the menu and realized this would be a good place to get some breakfast this Father’s Day. So we ordered a sausage quiche and a burrito. Dined in and enjoyed our breakfasts. Dining room noise level is mild. Limited seating. Clean restrooms.

8th & Roast is vibing. Very cool ambience in here with lots of old brick. I tried the Flash Chilled Nitro, which is described as brewed coffee flash chilled and infused with nitro. This is different than a cold brew. Not as strong, but still some great flavor. Nitro was super foamy (I wonder if it is N2 or N2O). Overall it was good. Not quite what I was expecting, but pleasant nonetheless.

Ordered a cappuccino and got what I can only assume was a basic coffee with milk. Coffee was very good, just not what I ordered. Maybe I went there on an off day too, but the employees all seemed very aloof. Would of loved to rate higher considering the coffee and food were very good but as of right now it won’t be my first recommendation. I’ll try again at another time and update the rating if the experience is better.
