Ordered pick up. Order was not even close to what we ordered. Ordered beef and got chicken? Ordered no veggies and whole container full of veggies. Called them and they said all they could do was free appetizer next Order?

Expected Chinese food. What we received was anything but. Had an Indian flair to it in preparation and flavor. Terrible taste to everything. The frying oil desperately needs changing. It caused the food to have a bad, very old oil flavor. Everything had a very dark color to it and no Chinese taste at all. Sweet and sour sauce they provide in small containers has a mustard taste to it. Was very difficult trying to get some to begin with. The cashier resisted giving any to us, even after we offered to pay for it. The meat in the wontons has an odd texture and flavor also. The chicken does not appear to be chicken either. Had a soft texture to it. Might possible have been tofu instead. This was our first experience there and will definitely be our last. I don’t believe the rating displayed is accurate.

Not really sure what happed to this place, I worked across the street from there for nearly eight years and ordered from them constantly, it was good food and fairly priced, but in the past several months its been lacking. The couple times it happened I thought “maybe its just this time” after the third I cant ignore, rice is so overcooked its hard and dry, everything just tastes a bit overdone or like its been sitting out to long, I don’t know if there is new ownership, but I am sorry guys, this was my favorite place when I was hungry after work. I hope to give it another shot in the future. I hate to see my favorite place decline <3

I think I’ve been ordering from 88 for 6 years now and this place blows everywhere else out of the water. I’ve had $20 Chinese entrees in Chinatown out in San Fransisco and they didn’t come close to the consistency and overall value of this excellent restaurant. I’ve gotten nearly all of my coworkers hooked on their food and I have no regrets because I know its high quality and made to order by some really hardworking folks. The general tsos is my go to and the orange chicken is a close second. I’d eat here everday if I could. Egg rolls are superb as well. No complaints whatsoever other than some decent wait times when they are busy but that in itself speaks to the quality of service they have cemented in the minds of us over here off of Cave Springs.
