GREAT FOOD!! The fried chicken sandwich my son ordered was HUGE and DE-LI-CIOUS!!! It’s better than any fast food chain, hands down!! My Moms salad looked great!! She said it was delicious as well! Both of my daughters and I ate everything in our plates!! They had breakfast, while the rest of us had lunch. I enjoyed my country fried steak & gravy, collards, and fried okra!! Did I mention it was delicious!! We definitely will be back!! Keep doing what you’re doing 801 Southern Kitchen!!

We love Savanah as a waitress. She is our favorite here. The pork tenderloin is one of the stars here. I love the tenderloin so much I’ll order a southern burger, and instead of the burger pattie I’ll ask that it be the fried pork tenderloin. It is a goto as an off menu change.

Our first time at 801 Southern Kitchen and we very much enjoyed it. Our server, Savannah, took great care of us and was very sweet and pleasant. I had the Big K’s Combo, which was very good. A large amount of food, with all the options I like, at a very reasonable $9.99. I was especially pleased that having the eggs as an omelet was an option for the “three eggs any style”.

Everything tasted like it was cooked in old grease. The eggs tasted like plastic and everything was very bland. Even the biscut gravy had not flavor. We all had loose bowels within the hour.

Food was fine.. basically it’s just like a Cracker Barrel. But the people weren’t the friendliest. Especially the young girl checking out the tickets to pay at the end.

Update. Honestly, after today we probably won’t be back. Service was pretty much nonexistent the food was that good and it took longer to pay the bill than it did to get seated and get our food. The old lady at the register moves so slowly and feels the need to have long conversations with everyone even though the line was across the restaurant with people waiting to pay and leave. The waitress we had was terrible. The country ham was so overcooked you couldn’t even eat it. My omelet was over cooked. That’s the 1st time I’ve ever had an omelet that was that dry and dead. Overall this place is very inconsistent and not worth my time to go back.

Overall Thoughts: This is a welcome sight for Davie county! This restaurant offers a great place to go and have an affordable, quality, meal with the family. There aren’t many options on the Advance/Bermuda Run side of Davie county…this place will be a go to destination

Food was terrible and order was wrong. The sausage gravy buscuit was dry as a bone. I brought leftovers from my kids plate to my husband who eats just about anything and he said the bacon tasted like dog food and to toss the rest. On top of it all, the staff up front got snotty with the kids when they grabbed a dumdum Lollipop which are always free anywhere else, yet they hollered loudly that they weren’t free and we had to pay for that! So move them somewhere else and or get rid of them. Ridiculous.
