Was excited about eating at a new place. Looked at menu, wasn’t super allergy friendly, but found something. My party both got lasagna. The service was great. The waiter was really attentive. Very accommodating. He made the night great. Joking with us made us comfortable. The ambiance was really nice. Very nice inside. The seating was great, and it was handicap accessible. Loved that part. The tables were a good distance apart. They didn’t feel like you were eating on top of someone. The menu was okay. Everything was a red sauce, no other cheeses except mozzarella. So when my arugula pizza came out, it had no sauce. Olive oil was the sauce. I omitted the cheese because I couldn’t do mozzarella. So all it had on it was procuitto and arugula. The stuff just fell off the bread. So I wasn’t happy and I told the waiter. He apologized, and the manager came right out to fix the situation. She offered another meal and wanted to know what she could do to remedy the situation. She wanted me to have a good time, a good meal. I chose to just not get anything else because the menu was limited and not really made to order. There are not many things to substitute if you can’t have something. No other sauces, no vegetables to add, no other cheeses to substitute. Told her not her fault because its my allergies, and they didn’t really have anything I could eat. Very clean establishment. A tad loud once it became busy. It’s hard to talk to your party. My party said the lasagna was really good and they had no problems cutting my boyfriend food for him due to disabilities. Probably not a redo place for me, but I’m really happy I got enjoy a good nice with the people I love.

I have now gone to 745 Osteria a few times and every time it gets better and better! From when you first walk in and are greeted by the hostess to when you are finishing your dessert, the staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and at home. We never have to wait for water or drinks and the food comes out in a perfectly timed manner. I have tried a few different dishes there now, but I always love getting the bread service. Every time it exceeds my expectations. I will be back again and again for the great atmosphere, service, food and will be recommending to EVERYONE!

This is my new favorite place! So glad there’s finally some good Italian food in Old Saybrook! The patio is awesome. After eating, my girlfriends and I had drinks by the fire pit for another two hours, because the servers were SO attentive and fun. I could eat the beet salad and the Genovese pizza every single day! This place is definitely the Shoreline’s newest hotspot.

What an amazing dining experience!! My family and I visited 745 Osteria on Sunday and ordered an array of appetizers and pizzas.We loved every bite of it! The food was authentic and delicious. Our server was awesome, professional and courteous. She kept checking in with us and made sure everyone was happy. The restaurant is beautiful with a relaxing vibe. If you love true Italian food then this is the place to visit.

I rarely leave reviews for restaurants but had to for 745 Osteria. The vibe is incredible, food is amazing, and staff is on point. Started the evening with espresso martinis by the fire pit. Bread service appetizer is an absolute necessity and anything with Silvio’s sauce will not disappoint. Ended the night with an affogato (gelato topped with espresso) and will certainly be back soon.

This was our first time dining at 745 Osteria. They were quite busy at 6:30 on a Saturday night but we managed to get right in and sat at the bar, which is our preferred seating area. The bartender, Marylyn, was very very pleasant and her service was outstanding. We had old Fashioneds that were perfect. For an appetizer we ordered the 745 Bread Service which included 3 different homemade breads and was delicious. Our entrees were the Chicken Parmigiana and the Rigatoni Bolognese and both were spectacular. There are many great places to eat in Old Saybrook and 745 Osteria is the newest one on the list. We highly recommend this new Eatery in town.

We had a lovely dining experience last night at 745 Osteria. We had a large party and did a family style dinner, which worked perfectly for us. The food came out quickly and was so incredibly fresh and tasty. The service was spectacular and the ambiance as well. What a fantastic new addition to Old Saybrook. Can’t wait to go back again!

Great atmosphere! Loved our waiter. , the food was awesome, enough to take home for lunch the next day. This is a great spot to stop in at the bar for a tasty cocktail or bring the family for a great dinner. Can’t wait to go back!!
