Are you in need of a temporary break from reality to indulge in a craft beer and the most incredible nachos in Georgia?! Well step on over to 5B. Not sure what all 5Bs are but two of them are barbecue and brews, both of which they nailed!

Decided to give this place a try. Did NOT disappoint! We came in and had dinner. The burger and shredded pork hit the spot. Highly recommend adding bacon to the burger. Ashlyn made the dining experience flawless. Drink and food order was brought out quick with no issues. We decided to come back 2 hours later for drinks. Jessica was Johnny on the spot with drinks. The margaritas did not disappoint! Between the food and drinks we well definitely be adding this place to our date night rotation.

The food was DELICIOUS. They make the most amazing pulled pork that I’ve ever had in a restaurant before! I was extremely impressed with it.

Our first visit today. Had the best Ribs. Very meaty, moist, fall off the bone tender. Best ribs in Georgia. And I know BBQ. Met Mr Bonner and discussed his prep. The Brunswick Stew is great, big hearty portion, full of meat and corn. They portion a plate so you do not have to buy a rack. Prices are comparable to area. My new favourite.

It’s okay, not great. Service is slow. Sweet tea is good. The regular sauce might as well be from the grocery store. And the spicy sauce, while flavorful, isn’t that spicy. The mustard sauce is really good. Mac and cheese is fine, not great. Baked beans are good. Pulled pork is hit and miss on smokiness. Brisket seems cooked in a hurry – possibly they shortcut things so no one has to come in each day at 3am to get the smoker going. Overall, the BBQ isn’t bad, and is perhaps the best in the area. We will go again because of that and the overall quality.

Update: Got s chance to stop by and eat in last night. Barbecue is very subjective with lots of variety and flavors. I happen to really like theirs. Food and service were excellent. Memphis ribs were fall off the Blane tender. They have a very nice selection of main stream and craft beers. Bar area has TV to watch and high top tables. Dining area is minimalist and very open with booths and tables. There are tables and a fountains in the courtyard. Parking is good. Great place for a nice meal.

This place was unexpectedly awesome. There is plenty of BBQ at LO but this BBQ has “neat” meat. No gross pieces or heavy fatty end meat. The meat is “neat”. The cuts are well defined and in neat order with thick meat on the bone. You apply the sauce you desire. There’s no covering up a half dozen ribs with heavy sauce and fatty excess. You have to see it to believe it. This was the best BBQ I’ve had in the 12 years I’ve been at LO.

Ordered the ribs. They were so overcooked that the bones were mushy with the flavor, being a mix of liver and metal. Never tasted something so off-putting. Sent them back and chose brisket as a second choice. Guess I got the “just leave” portion. The fries were a little soggy, and the mac n cheese seemed likenit came from a can or pre-made in a bag. Wait staff was attentive and they tried to make it right by offering a second choice of meat. The dining room was clean and well staffed.

So disappointed. I had the sliced brisket, fries and beans. The brisket was so dry and only 3 slices. Fries ice cold, barely edible. The beans were the only thing that was good. For almost $20 I expected so much more.
