When 58 York was in business my husband, friends and I would be here quite frequently. The atmosphere was great because of great bartenders. However the food was inconsistent and at times the servers were not so great. Still sad to see it go, it was a great local spot.

This place is very cool inside. I was completely surprised by the transformation from the last restaurant. The decor is unique, I love that it has a second floor and two bars. Sadly, we didn’t have the best experience. There were many tables open, but people were constantly sat directly next to us so everyone was all clustered in the center, which just seemed odd. There was one option for a vegetarian dinner. Other people who arrived after us got their food first. I am willing to give this place one more try, but I won’t be rushing to do it.

York 58 has a great atmosphere, an awesome bar menu, well mixed/creative drinks and a nice dining menu. My kids got nice meals (real Mac N Cheese with real cheese as opposed to the boxed variety other restaurants will sell you for $8), and the adult meals were delicious and well made. Try happy hour-it’s a fantastic value! A great neighborhood spot!

Disappointed as well. This place clearly has a lot of potential – I love the makeover of the old space and the look, and the food was tasty, but the service was ABYSMAL. We waited almost 20 minutes from the first of our party sitting down until anyone came over to take any drink orders or even acknowledge us, and it was a good 40 minutes from ordering to food arriving. Other tables had bread, and we didn’t, so we had to ask for some, which took another 10-15 mins to arrive. I understand they are still new, and obviously experiencing some growing pains, but 1. they should have more of their act together by now (the place was only half or less full – I shudder to think what our experience would have been with a full house!), and 2. no one acknowledged the poor service or apologized. Even the waiter just saying “I’m so sorry everything is taking so long, we are short staffed [or whatever]” would have gone a long way, but he not only said anything, he was practically non-existent! We have written a letter to the owner, if they respond appropriately, we’ll give them another chance and I really do hope the experience is better!

Just moved up the street and was really looking forward to trying this place. We waiting 40 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. Some of our entrees were then brought to the table cold. The manager asked how everything was and we told him about the miscues he seemed extremely apologetic. We were then told because our experience wasn’t pleasant the management was taking our 4 sodas off the bill. Unbelievable?! Horrible customer service. It’s unfortunate but I certainly won’t return.

Was there on Mother’s Day.. Ordered the calamari and shrimp,the shrimp was small and tasteless. The calimari was soggy and tasteless.My son ordered the crab pasta cheese dish, which was pathetic.They only half decent thing was the burger. Won’t be back. Wasted money going there.

58 York is one of the best restaurants in the hatboro area. The staff was pleasant, the atmosphere was fun and inviting,and the seafood was fresh and prepared to order. My husband and I will return.

Food is always good, service still needs to find their flow. They often don’t know if absorber has seen us yet or if we had ordered. Just some initial growing pains I think, though.
