This is a nice neighborhood diner with nostalgia decor. Definitely has a traditional vibe from 57!! The kitchen is located in the middle of the restaurant and you watch your food being cooked and prepared. Our server was attentive and brought food fairly quickly. Breakfast was delicious. Home fries had a delicious flavor, and portions were generous. They serve fresh squeeze orange juice. Overall, this was a nice experience, and will continue to visit. Also, they sell beer and wine and have brunch specials.

Great burgers! The fries were crispy, overall great experience. I’m glad the food wasn’t greasy. Soda float was delicious. I will definitely come back again.

Food isn’t great, but it isn’t bad either. The customer service is excellent though. It’s your typical diner food so I didn’t know what I should order to eat. To be on the safe side, I went with a burger, the James dean. There was also a breakfast dish. Most diners come with a combo but the combos here have an extra charge. I ordered curly fries to share thinking it would be a larger plate, but it wasn’t. I found the fries to be too oily as in when I bite into it, it felt like I bit into oil instead of potato. My burger was mediocre. It tasted bland. The breakfast plate was quite large. Probably should’ve stuck to that. Overall, I love the decor of the place. I would revisit just to try other items on the menu just because the service was above and beyond.

This is my go-to place when I want to have a decent dimer-style burger or usual diner meals. I don’t know why I found this gem just recently after living in Queens for more than 10+ years.

Ahh the lost art of the diner. If you want an old school diner burger, they got you covered! The atmosphere was very retro, and 50’s music oriented. Definitely a fun vibe. The only thing that got me was the disparity of pricing between dishes. You can get the house 57 burger for $8.00, but bacon and eggs for breakfast is $12.00, and even a basic wrap is $15.50. Now, the quality was there, and I’ll go back to grab a burger, just some of the price scale struck me odd.

Did an advanced order through Uber Eats for three people. A couple hours before the cutoff, I edited my order changing my soda from a black cherry to a diet root beer and removing the mac ‘n cheese bites. They swapped the soda, but kept the mac ‘n cheese bites without charging me. Strange, but hey, you wanna give me free mac ‘n cheese bites? No big deal. What IS a big deal is that I ordered a chicken sandwich called the Edsel and it was the saddest chicken sandwich I’ve ever had.

Our first time dining at 57 American Grill!! WOW!!! First the server, Samuel, he greeted my family with a smile that could brighten up the sky!!! And his beautiful smile, cheerfulness went on through the entire meal!!! We had the chicken tenders which were dry and overcooked but our dinners, 2 Jimmy Dean burgers and a Marlon Brando burger were cooked to perfection along with the delicious fries!!! They were delicious!! My daughter is such a fan of the 1950’s and we were all in heaven with the nostalgic ambience!! Samuel made a delicious dinner even more enjoyable!! You can bet this will now be a regular dinner place for us!!!!

Nice people. Cute 1950s theme. Rockabilly period vibe. For customer retention, food needs major improvement. Cheese fries looks like bagged fries with Kraft singles partially melted. Burgers were good except bread was wet and soggy on bottom. Jalapeño popper’s didn’t taste fresh and very salty and I love salt. Party of 5 and feedback was unanimous. Sadly, I can’t say that we would return. If I do it is for the theme and hopefully better food.

I’m not exaggerating, that was best burger I’ve ever had, period. I’ve also been on this earth for more than 45 years, so I’ve had my share of burgers. I am not surprised it turned out so good because the detail and work in making the establishment look like a 50′ style burger joint shows they are committed to a client’s great experience as well as a delicious product. Fonzi would be proud and would definitely hit that jukebox and give you an “AAAAAA”!
