Pros: if you want to have a true small business/ South Jersey diner experience, this is where you go. Love it. Small , cozy, 50’s diner through and through. Greeted by adorable little girl helping her mom out and while sitting there you see your typical old guy ” Bob” everyone knows there. Eggs are done perfectly, no browning on them. The waffle is done just right with that home cooked taste. Seem to very fair on price compared to most diners. Portions are right on. Also cleanest bathrooms I’ve seen in a restaurant. Clean tables and retro everything. Quick on the coffee refills. Family friendly.

We’ve known the man who now runs the 50’s Diner for many years. Great guy! When we heard he was there, we couldn’t drop in fast enough! Just like seeing family! I think if he’ll do great things with the place if he has the chance!

I went for breakfast, the service was good and the staff was friendly.. The food presentation was picture worthy, the food looked tasty, and was good. Also it came out quickly from the kitchen , and it was just as I ordered it. The old school Diner atmosphere was cool, and hard to find theses days. The men’s bathroom was clean, and i wiill go back again..

$6.70 for an egg & cheese sandwich, with some potatoes. But I didn’t order potatoes, only a sandwich. The bread sucked. I can’t believe I spent 7 bucks on this. Pretty disappointed because I pass it on the way to work every day and would have loved to stop for a breakfast sandwich often. Oh well.

A real tiny club car style 50s diner. Half dozen tables, counter seating, chrome and polished aluminum trim. Great home-cooked food. Large portions. Low prices.

This has to be by far the best dinner I’ve ever been to. When you walk in the door you feel like family. If you leave hungry, either you didn’t order anything or you too lazy to pick up the food. You won’t find potion sizes like this anywhere. Angies is like home away from home. After a couple weeks your gonna feel bad for not cleaning up after yourself.

This diner is under newer ownership and they are fantastic. My friend and I stopped there a couple of weeks ago after we noticed it was open again.
