50Kitchen has become a fast favorite, and we have visited every Saturday since they opened. The owners are an incredible, friendly, and welcoming family, and the food is truly among the best. We have tried almost everything on the current menu and have enjoyed all of it. If nothing else, the honey fried cornbread is a dangerously delicious treat and a must have. We will be back soon!

JUST what Chapel Hill has been missing! Asian Southern fusion done right. Banh mi and 50K chicken sandwich were standouts, but don’t sleep on the jambalaya egg rolls. Absolutely will be coming back.

This restaurant is amazing! They’re only open on Saturdays currently, but this is my third meal with them in three weeks. Everything on the menu continues to top the previous meal. The brisket on the sliders and banh mi is to die for. The honey fried cornbread might be my new favorite food of my life. The grits are the cheesiest I’ve ever tried. Do yourself a favor and try them ASAP!

Tried this place tonight and was pleasantly surprised. Did not expect to be served such high quality, and delicious food when I first walked in to the place. It’s an eclectic little spot but serving up high end taste. You can tell it’s all made fresh and the chef puts his heart and soul in to each dish he prepares. The owners were so friendly! Phenomenal service, and delicious food. Definitely try the jambalaya egg rolls and the 50chicken sandwich! Will be going back for sure!!

Decided to head to 50 Kitchen today for some good food, turns out it was better than good it was AMAZING! Every bite garnered a happy shimmy. Chef Anthony does a beautiful job of taking our tastebuds through a journey of Asian Southern Fusion. When you go, and you must go, be prepared to receive top notch customer service along with your delicious food. I’m stuffed and happy I went. Can’t wait to go back!

My son and I enjoyed Sat. lunch at 50Kitchen in the Blue Dogwood Public Market space, off Franklin St. It was so delicious and unique. We had jambalaya eggrolls with gumbo gravy, fried honey cornbread and a smoked banh mi – a traditional Vietnamese sandwich with a southern twist. They have great fries too.

Just had a great meal. Loved their 50k sandwich, great flavors. Plus we got 50cent wings. 20 for $10. Loved the sauces as well. Super nice people running it. Highly recommend.

Ate here yesterday because I heard all the raves about this little hole in the wall and it did not disappoint……except for the fact that it’s only open on Saturdays. I thinks that’s good marketing, lure the customers in with the flavorful baguettes and make them wait all week to come back. I’m excited to be going back to try something else. Delicious!!!

Incredible food. Never had a chicken sandwich so good. I’m from New Orleans, and the shrimp and grits here holds its own with anybody’s in the south. So glad chef Anthony moved down here!
