It always feels like dining in your own home when you are here. Edgar and Socrates treat everyone like family and get to know you, and even remember from one visit to the next! The food is ALWAYS fresh and delicious! 2 of the 5 of us are vegan, and they custom made their fajitas for us!

The food here is absolutely amazing. We came down from Chicagoland which has really good food to begin with, and I would say this place had probably the best breakfast I’ve ever had. Hats off to the chef!

Our crew eats there often, The cooks, the owner, and overall atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is absorbed Top Notch! They even grow their vegetables in a large garden FRESH, right on site,,, EAT HERE, it’s the real deal!

Amazing food and friendly service are the hallmarks of this restaurant! We’ve had breakfast several times and each time the food is fresh, the flavor is phenomenal, and the quality is excellent. My wife and I are addicted to the Chilaquiles Verdes and we usually order that and a new dish every time we go. We’ve tried many breakfast items and have never been disappointed.

We stopped here based on the Google reviews. The restaurant is pretty humble in appearance, but the server was very nice and attentive. The menu is quite large for a small town restaurant and they even had some dinner specials. I got three of the street tacos and my boyfriend got fries and a chicken melt. Everything was really good and probably some of the freshest, hottest food I’ve got at a restaurant lately. We went at a weird time, but there wasn’t anyone else there. It is kind of out of the way, but I’d definitely go back again for tacos. It is hard to find a good taco in Central Illinois but these were pretty yummy. I’d definitely recommend this place, don’t let the small town dive appearance deter you.
