Excellent. Good deals during happy hour when all the appetizers and beer are on sale. Though they are known for their burgers I must say my favorite thing here is the creamy tomato bisque soup. They serve it with a few fried cheese curds inside and it’s really the best. Have enjoyed everything I’ve tried and appreciate the rotating craft beer selection.

Recently stopped here on a Friday night for dinner with the family. This was my second visit, and each time I have been very impressed. I can’t speak highly enough of the food. If you enjoy a good burger cooked to perfection, you won’t be disappointed. The fried pickles and cheese curds were also outstanding. All of the employees were beyond friendly, and they were more than helpful accommodating us with two young children. The manager even made it a point to stop by the table, which I always appreciate. You need to eat here. For realz.

We visited 5 star for a work happy hour, and reserved the party room in the basement. The space was nice and the service was excellent. Everyone we encountered was friendly and helpful. My only complaint is the floors, which were sticky. As a result, most of our party stayed seated and avoided walking around to mingle. We still had a great time, and I would highly recommend them for future gatherings and happy hours.

Five Star Burgers has my favorite breakfast burger. The burger itself is delicious and always cooked to the correct temperature. It comes with bacon jam, which is so flavorful, and a sunny side up egg with a yolk that is perfectly oozy. To top it off, it comes with a hollandaise sauce that is creamy and so fitting. I also love their mixed basket of sweet potato and regular fries. Service is always nice. The only reason I don’t give 5 stars is because I’ve had a couple other burgers that were lack-luster. Still, a great place for good food.

Our first experience at 5 Star Burgers in Kirkwood. We were seated outside (at my wife’s request). However, we were then forgotten and the orders of people who had been seated after us were being taken. I had to go inside and ask the young hostess if someone was going to take our order. We waited a total of (conservatively) 35 minutes to have our order taken. The food was ok, but nothing really spectacular. We had 3 burgers and 2 small orders of fries (they comped our 2 iced tea and 1 soda) and the bill was still over $35. Not sure if I will give them another chance.

Had dinner with my family here last night for the first time. We had burgers and grilled cheeses. Portions were great and the food was fantastic. The wait staff was excellent as well. It will be added to our list of places where we dine and probably be at the top when it comes to a family vote.
