The chicken korma perhaps doesn’t get much better than here. The butter chicken, however, has a tomato soup flavour I wasn’t ready for and didn’t think I was ordering. The spice level 3 out of 6 tasted like a 1 to us and still is not registering on our palates. The Samosa was delicious and distinguished from the other starters as more than fried bread and able to compete with the delicious 5 Rivers Naan bread. I added a picture of the weight of basmati rice included with this meal just for fun.

We had a birthday party catered last weekend for about 25 people and the food was exceptional. The quantity was great and more than sufficient. The guests were all impressed with the taste and quality. Food was ready on time for pick up and they were in constant touch with us for ensuring everything was as desired. We will definitely cater from them again.

All 5 stars, all day, every day! The first time we did take out here I had to call them and complement them on how amazing the food was and such generous portions! Hands down the best Indian restaurant in our opinion. This place is family owned and they put their heart and soul into. We drive 45 minutes just to eat here and it is 100% worth it. Their naan is huge and fresh. Their mango lamb curry is so good that you can’t even imagine! You gotta try this place.

I came in for first time today. I only ordered togo. I have to say first, the lady who took our order was so sweet. She gave my son a mango smoothie. And he loved it. But also my son is a very picky eater. He picked out the butter chicken. And he absolutely loved it!! I got the veggie butter masala and oh my goodness this did not disappoint. Samosas and pakoras were on point. I am so sad I didn’t try this place before. I have been missing out. Such great food. And we will definitely be back!!! Thank you so much for this delicious meal.

I’ve placed a large order for my brother’s birthday party at the 5 Rivers. This was my first time ordering not knowing what the food would taste like. Hearing about the family business and their resilience through this economic instability, I decided to give them a try.

Radical hospitality at its best! I had no idea this restaurant had been closed for months after a fire burnt down their seating area. The restaurant is now open for take out and delivery. I stopped by and picked up some lunch – dal maharani was superb – perfectly cooked and spiced, with vegetable kofta curry. The koftas were soft, flavorful and the gravy was silky buttery smooth. All served with jeera rice – fluffy and tender king grains of fragrant basmati rice cooked with a touch of ghee. While I was waiting for the food to be packed, I was treated like family and served piping hot chai and pakodas. The owner and their family members were present and we chatted for a bit. Indian food lovers in north seattle – this is a not to be missed place for sure!

Walked in to place a togo order for 2 meals. I was handed my food within 14 minutes. Very satisfying! And the tiki masala with Naan was amazing! So flavorful and a lot of food! Bravo to the Chef!

I was really happy with our meal. I haven’t ate this type of food in a long time but was pleasantly surprised. I had the chicken Masala and my daughter had the butter chicken. We also had a nom which was delicious. The only thing that caught me off guard was the total, $40 bucks.

Each time I order delivery from this restaurant they get it wrong. My husband loves the chicken tikka masala, but I am going to have to stop giving our business to Five Rivers. I ordered the vegetarian plate. It was supposed to come with rice, vegetables, spanakopita, dolmas, and falafel. What did I get? Rice with warm, soggy cucumber. Topped with a bunch of random pakora. No sauce, no seasoning. No falafel, no spanakopita, no dolmas. Extremely disappointed!

To be honest people don’t know the taste of Real Indian food. This has nothing good taste. In my life this is the worst experience of taste of food. Taste the biryani common man. I’ll not lie the only thing they made good is samosa.
