The food was yummy. I had chocolate cake dream. It was too much to eat at one time. It was delicious with my coffee the next day.

Love this quaint diner and gift shop combo! Our group of four had lunch and then we spent some time walking around the store. Lunch was delicious and reasonably priced. We got out, 25% tip and all, for $55. Tons of gift items in the store as well. It goes on and on forever. Make time to find your way here. You won’t be disappointed!

This place is wonderful absolutely. The service was great! My buffalo chicken salad was out of this world. The yellow cake with chocolate frosting was the best I have had in my life. North central TN doesn’t have the best food, however this place blows all other restaurants out of the water. I wish they were located in Springfield so I could eat there weekly!

Great food, wonderful atmosphere including the stores. Deserts are huge so we took one home to share with coffee tonight.

Was looking for somewhere different for lunch and came upon 5 Chefs. So happy we did!!! Not only was the service great but the food was amazing. The best potato soup I’ve ever eaten! OMG the cakes!!! We will definitely be back!

It’s like a little tea shop! Food is great. Don’t so much see younger people in here often though.

This is an old home that’s been turned into a combined restaurant and gift shop. The gift shop is stocked by individuals that display their own clothing and Decor in individual rooms. The restaurant staff is helpful and friendly, and the food is delicious. I have eaten there several times.

The chicken tenders were probably the best I’ve had anywhere (at least non spicy). They were very very large but incredibly juicy and with a thick crunchy layer of breading on the outside. I also LOVED the chocolate cake with the mouse and ganache on it… the cake was so perfectly moist and it was quite fantastic.

5 Chefs has the most divine cakes. We ventured from Nashville to Portland one day and came across this restaurant and I am glad we stopped in. The restaurant is housed in an old farm house with an addition. It is a charming place with great food and cute shops. The food is wonderful and service is excellent. If you don’t have time for anything else, make sure to grab a slice of cake on your way out. A truly fascinating place.

Good food and desserts, but the beverage choices detract from the meal. Pepsi does not compliment food like Coca-Cola.
