I loved this place. I am always looking for great Caribbean food. The restaurant’s atmosphere was calm and warm. Our waiter Ms Dee was so kind and attentive to us. She was very knowledgeable about our menu and answered every question in detail in response to our enquiries about the menu. We went there yesterday Tuesday evening June 6th 2023 for black restaurant week and ordered delicious food. I also got the Island Wings their Signature Appetizer Served with Pineapple-Ranch Dip and Vegetable Slaw and it was very good. Omg the Vegetable Spring Rolls

Same cool family elevating the Jamaican/ Caribbean Cuisine from styrofoam takeout platters to elegant sit down dine in service. Get a patty to set things off – dinner did not come out fast. But the end result is a satisfying & tasty experience curated by the same chef who has been there since it opened. The jerk pork chop, which was well seasoned & tender is the biggest hit amongst many other great options.

I knew all of this place for a couple years now. However, finally had the chance to take my friends there. We all ordered three different meals. I got oxtail and it was really good. Highly would advise you to try it. The prices were a little expensive for Hanging out with your friends in a restaurant food. At least for three students. However if you’re looking for really good tasting meal excellent service and good portions this restaurant is for it. For example, the oxtail was around $32. We paid around $100 for three peoples meal, we all got to appetizers three main dishes and two side dishes.

Caribbean food restaurant with very friendly staff. We walked in with no reservations right before the restaurant was swamped for due to dinner rush. The crowd is a mix of locals and it was very nice to see multiple ethnicities in one place enjoying scrumptious food. Menu has a variety of seafood and meat dishes even some pasta dishes. We ordered the jerk chicken which comes with rice, beans, cabbage, and white and dark meat pieces of chicken coated in a thin gravy. The meat was juicy, portion massive and meaty with flavor not spice so don’t be deterred to order because you think it will be too spicy it is more about the spices then it being spicy. My partner ordered the stewed chicken curry dish and it was very tasty just wish the meat were more meaty then bony. The selling point here is that it is BYOB and the best item hands down is there corn bread. They give you a massive portion and it is made to perfection seriously wanted to take some home for later. The sides are expensive but I would skip the Mac and cheese very bland standard and not worth the $5 extra side and the collard greens were okay not the best. The cabbage the dishes come with is phenomenal and so is the rice and beans. I definitely want to come back when I am craving jerk chicken.

I truly enjoyed my experience when I went to this Caribbean restaurant I cannot remember the young lady’s name for the life of me but she was such a joy to be serviced by. The young lady would always excuse herself if she had to break through a conversation with me and my coworkers or if she reached over my water she will always apologize. She was wonderful I didn’t experience was magnificent because of her. I ordered the braised oxtails with rice and butter beans for my entree and my appetizer was a chicken patty and beef patty. You can tell the chicken patty was homemade because it had curry in it and it was spicy. I like spicy. I loved the presentation of all the entrees that came out except the patties but they were still tasty. I will definitely come again to try the curry goat next time. Support black businesses!!!

Nice interior and staff. Food presentation is good. As an experienced Caribbean diner I tried the conch fritters. A favorite for me. Looked nice. Spiced nice, but little to no conch in the 5 I had or in my partners 5. Chicken wings were good. Price is high
