In Bowling Green there is a place called 440 Main…a building built for John Getty in 1871. Sat at the bar and Jillian got me set up with some water and a beer while I looked things over. You can order from the 440 Main or the Micki’s on Main menu (both under same ownership) so I asked Jillian for advice. Based on her suggestion I went with the Cajun Spring Rolls and the special Summer Vegetable Cioppino. The spring rolls were incredible…highly recommend you order an extra helping of the Mango Barbeque Sauce cause it is addicting. I’ve never had Cioppino but this was loaded with all kinds of seafood and veggies in a robust tomato wine sauce. The only thing I wasn’t a fan of was the “leek hay”…just did not like the texture but it was easy to move it aside. The food was great and the service from Jillian was excellent.

Loved our waiter Toby, exceptionally attentive and personable. I asked for a quiet romantic table and was gloriously surprised with an amazing seating. So quiet and private. Everything was amazing!

Met friends here while visiting the area. Our waiter, Conrad was excellent. He was attentive, personable and knowledgeable. The food was excellent. Our guests loved the Grilled Caesar Salad. For our entrees we had the Southern Style Crab Cakes, Atlantic Salmon, Pasta Louisiana, and the Filet Au Poivre. All were excellent. The restaurant was not crowded (Wednesday dinner) and we did not feel rushed. Conrad keep us well hydrated as we set and talked long enough to end up getting desert which was also very good.

Not the experience one should have with the prices charged. Ordered the burrata appetizer. Tomatoes were completely rotten. Didn’t realize it until I had already eaten half of one. Was woken up at 3 am with terrible diarrhea. Server was somewhat apologetic but the chef did not even offer to remove it from the check when informed. We asked it be removed. You can’t call yourself upscale and plate rotten tomatoes. Mediocre service, undercooked jambalaya rice, flavorless mashed potatoes, but the cherry on top was the diarrhea at 3 am.

Really enjoy the food, service and atmosphere. Daily specials are always a treat! Have not had a bad meal here yet, and have probably eaten in here a dozen or more times over the last two years.

Compliments to the kitchen. 1st visit and the Cajun dishes were spot on and delicious. Couldn’t find a good bowl of gumbo in this area and I found it. One side of the restaurant is white tablecloth formal – the other side has a nice size bar, standing tables, and a more informal vibe. Found a new place!!! Everyone loved their meal at my table. Delicious
