I prefer the Basa fish. The food is solid’ and the portions are nice. Also a nice variety of beverages/ including beer and wine in the accessible glass cooler right there in the lobby. An added bonus is the selection of graphic novels available to browse while you wait. The atmosphere feels like someone gutted the fist floor of a house and then set up shop. Even the outside seating area is basically a front porch overlooking 42nd Ave. I dig it.

Today at about 12 noon, I started getting hungry so me and my boyfriend decided to order from here. It’s our first time trying this restaurant out. We ordered the family meal fish and chips with a family fry, we also got the Cobb fish, which was Amazing. We also had the potato salad and Cole slaw. The potato salad I personally loved. My boyfriend didn’t Care for the coleslaw. Other than that food was hot and fresh. It was Finger licking good . Stay Blessed

It was ok, the food could have been better as far as the portions . I spent about $60, by time i got home i was hungry again. They have no dessert that was advertised on the menu . Hopefully they are able to improve their service.

Cute place, unfortunately the food was overall pretty bad. Soggy over cooked Mac and cheese with no cheese. Cod was not fresh but the cat fish was really good! Service was great, a few things just need some more love and seasoning.

At Least 4 stars for this place, they had real okra, catfish, greens, mac n cheese, all the important stuff. The young woman running the shift was cool and very courteous, got my food pretty fast and it is very good. I’ll be seeing you again soon, Thank You!

I am SO excited I found this AMAZE lil’ Fish & Chips(&Ribs!) joint right in my old neighborhood! While normally I’m in a hurry & I’ll get my order to go, (10min tops & worth it!) otherwise they have a super cute, super relaxed lil’ front patio to hang out on while you’re eating your choice of bomb AF fish& crinkle Fries(or Hush Puppies) their fried okra is off the hook, as is the moist(yes, I said moist) housemade cornbread! Ok I’ve gotta reel it in cuz I’m getting hungry now, one more thing they have this ridiculously rare selection of different soda’s! I don’t know where else you would even find the types of soda they offer there?! The whole vibe of the place is home-y, & has a very welcoming family feel. My kind of place.Lastly, they tend to get super busy, so sometimes you gotta come in with your patience (speaking from someone who’s been in the restaurant industry before.)These folks rock it out!

The fish is crispy and yummy. Sides are very meh. They struggle with service (it’s slow, be patient), but they are nice. The space is very casual. I love supporting Black owned businesses. I wish the sides were a little tastier.
