I was driving when I saw this BBQ place, so happy I decided to give it a try. They took my order with a smile, the brisket was so good, brisket is my 2nd favorite food . I will be definitely be going back to buy some more. Gonna try the ribs next time . Thumbs up

I got the Hebron plate for $20 (pulled pork, brisket, turkey, two types of sausages, potato salad, and beans). Very good deal for the money since I’ve got enough food for two meals.

It’s okay, but I only tried the brisket; I asked for lean and it was a bit on the fatty side. It was also on the cool side of room temperature, so it had a couple of issues right out of the bag. What I liked was the smoke flavor, which had a nice “wood fire” profile—not a overly acrid penetration like so many other que-spots. Their house sauce is some of the best I’ve had. Another awesome thing about 401k is their prices are less than average and since every meat offering is $10/half lb., it makes it easy to ‘do the math.’ One last thing to note is the hole in the wall atmosphere, located in a corner of a gravel lot in small garden center and easily missed if you’re not looking for it.

I don’t understand all the raving reviews. Pulled pork is cold. As in, borderline refrigerated. Brisket was way too fatty for me. (And I asked for lean). Ribs are just ok. My preference would be for more meat on them and cooked longer, as they were solid pink and a bit tough. The potato salad and baked beans were the highlight of the meal. From reading all these other reviews, I must have came on a bad day.

Really great BBQ! Feasted on the 3 meat plate. I had the sliced brisket, hot links and turkey. BBQ sauce is good! Included pinto beans, potato salad, and 3 slices of white bread. 2 Cookies. You can get pickles, onions, and jalapenos on the side. They are open Fridays and Saturdays 11:00 am to 7:00 pm. Gotta try this place!

Some of the best barbecue In the dallas area. Great prices and friendly service. Make sure you come early as they do tend to run low in the afternoon.

Pulled pork was seasoned strange, however it was edible.

What great people! The service I received was EXCELLENT! I was very impressed with the amount of food we received. I do prefer a more fatty brisket and this was definitely a leaner cut. The turkey was extremely flavorful along with the sausage. This was an impressive quick stop. Thank you

The brisket sandwich was just perfect! Sauce is delicious! I, also, recieved some candy popcorn and salsa for the holidays! Definitely a treat while waiting for car work to get done from across the street. Cute little area all around! Reminds me of growing up around here back in the 90s and early 2000s.
