One of my closest friends is a head chef here and I’ve just started going because he just started working here not that long ago and I haven’t had anything bad yet it is really good food tonight I had lobster mac and cheese it was so delicious. I am Cape Cod native and it’s all about the quantity and the quality of your food and I absolutely love their fried clams also. Their french dip sandwiches are delicious as well I will be coming back to try everything LOL

this was always our consistent go to. friendly people and solid food. but recently they have increased the prices by at least 30% and seem to have lowered the quality on some items we previously enjoyed. we will try again after the tourist season but sad to say good bye for a while.

We had a weekend wedding in Cape Cod. For our rehearsal dinner, we came to 400 East. From the moment we contacted them, they were nothing but accommodating to us. We set everything up with Rich. He laid out all our options. He let us know the two different pricing points depending on how many guests we had. We ended up with over 30 people, so they gave us the back room so we had private space away from the rest of the customers. Ruby was our server. She did a fantastic job. She was right on top of everything the whole evening. Was constantly checking in on us to see how things were going and if we needed anything.

400 East Restaurant has a nice atmosphere and plenty of indoor seating, as well as a bar. We shared a salad, and my husband enjoyed a cod sandwich while I had the French dip. The roast beef was lean and tender, and the au jus was delicious. The portions were generous.

Ended up having a meal here 4 times during our one week visit to Harwich this Spring! The seafood was phenomenal! Especially loved the salmon burger, crab cakes and salad with fresh scallops!

To this day hands down the prime spot for absolutely delicious food. Great friendly service. Monica . I had the Calamari and omgoodness. …words can’t express the taste of lightly battered and fried to perfection. The California Bu4ger was bomb and the Cobb salad is a monster. I will be back when I come back to the Cape. …and quite possibly just for the food.

me and 2 of my friends walked in and the server had a very rude to me and my friend but very kind to my other (me and my friend are darker skinned and my other friend is white). we sat down and she gave us an attitude and rude looks, we asked for a minute to order our food and she gave us 30 seconds and came back and got mad that my friend wasn’t ready to order and again gave me and my friend a rude look and an attitude but was very patient with my white friend. my black friend also asked for fries and she said “that’s it im done” with a very impolite tone and walked away. we got a very bad vibe from her and this is our first time eating here and WILL be our last. thank you.
