We ordered corn salsa and street chicken tacos. I can not have any spice because of stomach issues the manager came out and made my food and asked me if it was ok and I could eat it. Very polite and really care about the consumer. The corn salsa was amazing really fresh and good flavor. I will for sure go back when I return to Orlando on Orange Ave.

This was my first time at any 4 Rivers location. I’d heard so much hype for years and decided to skip my usual favorite BBQ joint to try this place out. Disclaimer – maybe, because of all the hype, I expected too much. I ordered the chicken and rib combo with fries and beans. None of the food was hot, not even the fries. Everything was warm-ish at best. Flavor was good, but chicken seemed just a hair underdone and the ribs were just a hair over done. The final issue I had was with the sauces. They were uber thin almost watery. I don’t know if this is by design, but I prefer BBQ sauces that cling to the food instead of running off of it. I’m willing to try once more, at a different location. We shall see.

I went there for a second time after my first experience wasn’t great with some friends. I had the barbecue quesidilla and it was honestly pretty good. I was happy with my food and how nice the employees are. Carson was great. He took care of me and my friends and made sure everything came out in a timely manner and even took our trays when we were finished eating.

Food and portions are great. The last 3 times we ordered takeout the food was not ready when the ordering process said it would be, so plan on an extra 5 to 10 minutes beyond the stated time. Perhaps the algorithm needs to be adjusted to make the pick up time more accurate.

Surprisingly they do offer a couple vegan items here which is great. I’ve had the vegan burnt ends with corn (both vegan) a few times and it was pretty good. Sometimes we would wonder, is this the vegan burnt ends. My last visit was probably my last, as I ordered the same items and I asked for extra vegan bbq. I was told that they didn’t have any. So I wondered if they used regular sauce on my food that I had received but ate it anyways. Later that day I had explosive diarrhea and my stomach was hurting bad for a while. I won’t risk it again. Also the service was very slow that day. 2 customers in front of me took 10-15 minutes to serve before getting to me just to order take out. The food is a little pricey as well.
