The lamb shank was cooked to perfection, with a tender interior and a flavorful, crispy exterior. The succotash was flavorful, and the broccolini could have used some butter or other flavor additive. The overall meal was a delicious and satisfying experience. The house mixed drink selections were perfect for me as they had several types of old fashions. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Fantastic food and fantastic service in a great location. Close to the theater and scope area if you need a place for dinner before a show. The She crab soup was phenomenal as was the crab stuffed flounder. Highly recommend.

Heard rave reviews but was disappointed with our meal. The crab and spinach dip appetizer mostly spinach and the crab stuffed flounder did not look or taste fresh,more like something frozen. Crab also did not seem to be fresh possibly from a can . Our desserts, the cream brulee and the vegan chocolate, were, however, fantastic.

Wonderful experience. I loved the aesthetic inside. Everything was delicious and beautifully plated. When my companion did not like a particular item ordered (based on personal tastes) the manager was quick to come over check in eith us and ask questions so he could learn what it was she didn’t like about the dish. Kudos for caring about your customers!

Restaurant week specials pulled me in the direction of 4 5 6 Fish. Lovely establishment in downtown Norfolk. The offer was 3 courses plus an optional wine pairing, which of course I had to try. The first course was a Greek salad, pretty standard. 2nd course was salmon with spinach and risotto, all delicious and I’d have it again. 3rd was the chocolate mousse cake, quite yummy. I ate at the bar and my time was enjoyable. I wish I recalled which wines I chose… things became a little blurry after #2 lol. I’ll for sure visit again.

The She Crab soup is so good! Creamy yet not too stuffed. The fried calamari is pretty good and we love the aioli sauce, which gives a hint of mint.

We had a wonderful meal and experience at 456 Fish! Everything was cooked perfectly and our drinks were perfection. For us it was definitely a special occasion place, but it was my birthday! Great Norfolk location with off street parking.

Ii wish I could post all zeros. We’ve been here before and had a great experience. At that time, several years ago, it was a group of four; me and my husband and our couple friends from MD… all of us white. Tonight my husband and I took another two friends who are black and the extreme racism was ever present. Before we left our house I checked open table and saw many open reservations so I didn’t bother to make a reservation. We arrived and were told that we couldn’t be seated due to high volume. I said that I could have made a reservation, but did not and the hostess said “oh I wish you had. I can’t seat you for at least an hour.”

Had an amazing dinner. The stuffed flounder was was amazing, cooked perfectly. The lobster carbonara was creative and so delicious. The Alfredo was creamy and tasty. (Yes I tasted everyone’s food). The strip though not my favorite cut it was cook perfectly. The lobster mashed tasters were like whoa! After tasting everyone’s food I had no room for dessert. However I was informed dessert was as wonderful as dinner. I highly recommend.
