This had to be one of the best experiences we have had at a steakhouse. We had reservations, its like they had been waiting for us all day. We were immediately seated. We had ample space, and there were 8 of us. The server was amazing and made us feel like we were his only table. The drinks were all amazing, and they made me a non alcoholic drink due to me not being a drinker. The appetizers came out quickly, and they were all amazing. We ordered the lamb, ahi tuna stack, and the fried calamari and oysters as the appetizers. They were all amazing and satisfying. I ordered the 36oz dry aged Tomahawk. It was by far the best steak I have ever had. I also ordered the loaded twice baked potato and the candied brussel sprouts. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits, and she said that it was amazing. It was her birthday dinner, so we got the pleasure of trying the carrot cake. It was also one of the best pieces we have had. Our friends got the other dishes and they all said that they were all delicious.

Had a great evening. Michaela was an awesome waitress. Good steak that they really let the quality meat speak for itself. However, the chicken “not pie” was amazing. Good brussel sprouts, and twice baked potatoes. Will pas on the mushroom melody next time. Just wasn’t my favorite. They won’t get my vote for best of Texoma, but that’s a high bar. Will be coming back though. Great ambience.

Ate at 34 Chophouse & Doc’s Lounge in Denison, TX. I ordered a Lavender Fields to drink and the Ceasar Salad to start. The Elderflower Liquor really worked with the scent of the fresh lavender and honey. The lettuce was not cut up (what is it with this trend) and too much dressing was used. Then I had the Lamb Lollipops with vegetable puree (more than an appetizer) and the Shrimp and Grits. Way too much food, but wanted to try them all. Chef came from Choctaw according to wait staff. Great atmosphere in a nicely renovated historic build on Main Street. I’d come back again.

First timer here, and I loved the place. We went for our 26th wedding anniversary. The food was delicious. Next time, I will ask for a little less pink for my steak. The loaded potatoes, oh my God, they were amazing. A must visit place. The mango cocktail was to die for as well.

We had an amazing anniversary dinner here. The most amazing food, great atmosphere, and the best server we have ever had! Morgan was so amazingly wonderful, knowledgeable, and charismatic individual! Please ask for her if you choose to eat here! She will make your night out even more amazing. I 100% recommend this place for every occasion!

My husband and I decided to try a new place last night for our Valentine’s date night. We didn’t have a reservation, but when we arrived the hostess said she actually had a cancellation so we got sat right down. Our waiter was fantastic, polite and knowledgeable about the drinks and food. We had an amazing appetizer, followed by delicious salads then the most delicious main course. After dinner we decided to check out Doc’s Lounge. This place is not your local dive bar. It’s a beautiful lounge with couches, big screen TVs and a large bar. While we sat at the bar we were greeted by the owner as if we were old friends. We told him how great everything had been and we loved what he had done with the place. He offered to give us the full tour. Overall our night was absolutely perfect. It’s amazing to have such a great restaurant close to home. If you’re on the fence-GO! It’s worth it!!

A very nice upscale addition to the area that has been so needed! The cocktails are tasty, and the crabcake was fantastic. It would be awesome if they had the bar food menu available in the lounge all of the time! It would be great for a more casual night of drinks and appetizers. Highly recommend!

It was more than delicious food, it was an experience. The food is upscale, but the place has a comfortable vibe. The Eisenhower’s Pot Roast was exceptional – creamy potatoes and incredibly tender wagyu beef. The Old Fashioned was smooth. Finally! A restaurant worth leaving the house for in Grayson County.
