When I travel from home, I like to find local restaurants. When I searched restaurants, three Southern girls came up. The food was amazing. The service was fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for local delicious food, you need to go here.

One of the best local lunch joints in Jefferson. I love the red beans and rice! Which comes with warm, delicious cornbread!!

I’ve had lunch from 3 southern girls several times. It’s always good, but never Best in Class. Our favorite is probably the stuffed bell pepper. That’s always a winner. I liked the fried okra and the potato salad. Not really a fan of the Mac and cheese because the pasta is not macaroni. It’s spaghetti. We will be back.

I think I’ve had everything on the menu at this point and the food is amazing. The service is even better. I usually get to-go food but the few times I’ve eaten there, they treat you like family. They even remembered me last time bc the time before that I panicked after my toddler knocked over a drink lol. They were so kind about it and wouldn’t even let me clean it, they understood that sometimes kids make messes. It feels like I’m eating at my mom’s house lol. Love this place and the people who work here!

The food was so good I bit my finger while eating the chicken!! These ladies know their way around the kitchen, and I’m so happy I gave them a try. I got the cabbage plate with fried chicken, cornbread, & candied yams and everything was DELICIOUS!! I’m coming back soon. Keep up the great work ladies!

I had the fried fish, my associate had the red beans and rice. I’m not a southern boy but she said they were very good and my fish was tasty. Make sure to check the hours before you go they aren’t open every day or very late in the evening.

Great tasting food. And that compliment is coming from a food critic himself. Home cooked food that you do not have to do nothing to but eat it. My 1st time here today and I will be back tomorrow!!!

I’ve been to this restaurant twice and it’s a nice down home soul food joint. It really tastes like Mawmaw’s cooking. The food is always fresh and flavorful.The prices are good for the portions you get. And I LOVE the old school jams they play…good jams and good food is THE vibe for me !
