Visited this place during a weekend getaway with my girlfriend and her cousins. The wait time was long but it was worth it. My girlfriend really love’s chicken and waffles and she said they were cooked to perfection. I had the biscuit &’ gravy with eggs &’ it was delicious. We also ordered mimosas too. Definitely will try again the next time we visit.

A great little diner with a cozy feel and well-executed classics. Prices were not too bad for the Austin downtown area, and there’s decent parking! Definitely will be back for the Kentucky

Went for breakfast here and it was good. I had the chicken waffle. It was delicious. Rest of them had different dishes but all were good. Nothing to complain about food.

We had a party of 8 ona Saturday morning. We were quickly accommodated by the hostess which was nice but our server (unfortunately I did not get her name) was absolutely rude and unhelpful. She made us all feel as if we were inconveniencing her and she’d love to get us out the restaurant as quickly as she can.

The staff who greeted me were quite nice and polite. Being charged 17 dollars for a sandwhich and hash style potatoes, not so much. I asked for over medium eggs, and nothing was runny about it. Both the sandwhich and potatoes were cold by the time I got home (only live 5 minutes away). I will not be eating here again, not that that means much in the grand scale of things, but still, first impressions matter and won’t recommend this to anyone.

24 Diner is a misnomer. It is only open from 7am-11pm. So by no means an actual 24 hour diner. It is conveniently located next to Waterloo Records. But this space was much better when it was Waterloo Icehouse. 24 Diner has all your diner staples and decent dessert but the food is lacking a bit. Still a good place to have a bite to eat after exhausting yourself next door.

Forgot to take a picture of the food before we ate, it looked so good! Wait time for food wasn’t long at all, even with a full restaurant. The veggie hash is really good, the small portion is perfect. I read the positive reviews of waffles beforehand, and I’m glad they were recommended! Cold Brew was solid, too, only needed one glass.

We ordered chicken and waffles and the eggs benedict, they were both perfection. If we were in town longer we would of gone back multiple times! I want to try everything!
