I’ll begin by saying that I’m not sure why the restaurant is named 1942. I am familiar with 1942 tequila but the restaurant doesn’t give off those vibes. Maybe I should do more research on that. Overall, my visit here was decent, but the service needs improvement.

Well I wish I could tel you how the food and beverages were but there was an hour and a half wait due to staff shortage. The restaurant only had two waitresses, one bartender and two hosts. If this place was not heavily advertised I wouldn’t have left a review. How dare you open and you aren’t ready for the customers!? There were at least 10 customers in the parking lot plotting their next move due to the disappointment of your establishment not being able to accommodate them in a reasonable timeframe. Looking forward to greater preparation!!

Save your time and your money. The food was okay but the service was terrible. There is a big language barrier however, our waitress was rude. She came over to ask how the food was and when I asked if they could re-make my elote corn but it did not taste right- she straight up just said no. Minutes after our food came, she came over and asked about the bill situation, can I at-least taste my taco first?? Then came back with our bill and asked if we were ready to pay. We had barely ate any of our food, she kept pressing about us paying the bill, it was very unsettling. Then my friend asked what time do they close, and she stated 9:30pm, however it says 10:30pm online. Who closes at 9:30pm on a Saturday? I won’t be back.

Service was horrible. Food was horrible. The staff all wait around the entrance looking like a lost cause. Asked one of the waitresses for a new cup because there was lipstick on it and her literal response was “I don’t know.” And this place just opened?? Seems to me like it should already be closing down.
