What a great addition to Ligonier! We went on a Friday evening, around dinner time. It was busy, but we didn’t have to wait for a table! They have a great patio, but it was raining so we couldn’t sit out there. Our service was amazing, along with the food and Margs! We will definitely be going back many more times!

Best restaurant in Ligonier! This is a great authentic Mexican restaurant and has a huge menu with all the classic Mexican dishes. The restaurant itself has a lovely atmosphere and is well-decorated, with a very friendly staff!

I’d like to start out with staying the staff is absolutely amazing. Friendly, attentive, and they really have a way of making you feel at home. The menu is full of choices, and the food is excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the drinks are delicious. we were there in the second night and Jose. The manager was giving everyone shots and appreciation for them coming in. I can’t say enough about how great experiences to eat here. I guarantee you’ll definitely enjoy it.

WOW. The food is great, the servers are lovely. The inside is cozy and cool. It was too cold to eat on the porch but we will once the temperatures change. It’s in a walkable distance from town and they are open every day until 10! My husband and I walked there and back and had a lovely night.

We haven’t had great Mexican food for a long time until today at this new addition to Ligonier. Reasonably priced. Served piping hot and very fresh. Very clean and newly remodeled. Great bar selection. Try it, you won’t regret it.

I don’t always write reviews, but it has been over a week and I am still thinking about how incredible my meal at 1942 Tacos and Tequila was. The service was fantastic right off the bat when we walked in, and our server was kind and accommodating in every way. We sat outside and enjoyed the beautiful weather. We were brought chips and salsa immediately, and the salsa was absolutely fantastic. I am vegetarian, so I got the veggie fajita dish. The price was completely affordable (unlike most places at the moment), but the food was so tasty it was priceless. My meal was my favorite thing I have eaten all year! Every single part of my spread was 10/10 which is super impressive considering there were so many different foods to try (hot veggies, mexican rice, guac, refried beans, fresh veggies, corn tortillas, and more!). I live 4+ hours away, so I sadly cannot make a trip back here easily, but I am so pleased with my experience that I had to write a review! 🙂

Friendly staff, delicious food, free chips and a great $3 margarita Monday special! Went twice in one week, loved it so much! I enjoyed the pollo con crema. Others loved their carnitas tacos and chicken fajitas! The atmosphere is really nice too with cozy booths, beautiful art and colorful artsy light fixtures.
