We started with some cocktails and they were mixed well and they offer a good variety of draft, mixed cocktails and wine. There is even a wine flight I would reccomend a beer flight would be a great addition. The sliced bread was great with the oil and garlic chive butter. We had steak bites with a blue cheese and they were very good. Would have preffered them a bit more medium instead of well. The beet salad was average, it lacked enough vinagrette, needed a bit more cheese but the hazelnuts were a perfect crunch. We had the salmon and was absolutely wonderful. Perfect blackening but the filet was covering one of the best parts. The beet puree was spectacular dont hide it. It pairs well with the brocolini and zuchini. We topped it off with a Briezzaa. Melted Brie and apples with a compote. Almost dessert or a great app. Thank you for the patio and service.

Blown away by the superior food quality, service, wine selection and atmosphere. We loved the onion rings, the steak, and veggies. The bread pudding was delicious but the creme brulee was, meh and a bit oily. The staff, from entering to leaving, were lively and attentive. This place is definitely a favorite now. We’ll be back!!

The people here go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. The food is outstanding especially the Ribeye Steak…cooked perfectly and so delicious. We started out with the homemade bread, fondito dip and steak bites and OMG we were super tasty. The atmosphere was so beautiful and chill. We ate upstairs with the doors rolled up. Fantastic choice. For any type of food. I am a regular here now along with my husband, Marc!

I’m going to tell you why 1882 Grille should always be your go to 3rd street spot in McMinnville. Let’s start with hosting. We came on Easter with no reservation . They say us in 10 minutes. Next, let’s talk about service. Maybe was our server and she took exceptional care of our party (three adults, a toddler and a 16 month old). She brought beer tasters, made wine recommendations and helped us navigate the delicious menu (not an easy feat). I picked the soup, and wow what a revelation of ham navy bean delight. My wife chose the Buffalo mac n cheese with steak (cooked to perfection). We also ordered bread and cauliflower Buffalo which is the best appetizer in Yamhill county. For dessert we ordered the crème brûlée and blueberry blackberry bread pudding. I can say this dessert is worthy to eat on the day our Lord Jesus rose from the dead. Cheers 1882 and Mayce! We will be back again.

Had lunch here so not sure if dinner is different, but service was a little lacking. The per glass wine selection is minimal, good selection, but small list, so prepare to buy a bottle. Food was decent. Great to sit out on their patio on a nice afternoon/evening.

I made reservations two months ago. I got at least 4 automated reminders the week leading up to the reservation wanting me to confirm that we would still be there. I said yes to all messages. We got there, and they couldn’t find my reservation. Luckily, the place was empty. The servers acted like we were inconveniencing them. First of all, their prices were at least 50% higher than what we saw online for their menu. I got the 3 piece fish and chips, that I thought was going to be $18 per their menu online, but it was $26!! Was 3 pieces of fish, and about 20 little French fries, and a quarter cup of coleslaw that wasn’t even your classic sweet slaw. No bread. They never came to top off my water.

Wow! Super impressed. I must admit, I haven’t spent much time in McMinnville but I am sure glad we spent the night having Dinner at 1882 Grille. We didn’t realize how warm, comfortable and spacious the place was. They have a great bar area upstairs, a hug ground level patio with fireplace and a super cozy dining area downstairs.

Beautiful restaurant. The food was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely. The only critique I have is they seemed incredibly short staffed and were slow to come back to our table. They got at least two of our orders wrong and we had to flag them down any time we needed waters – etc – they rarely came to check on us. They were incredibly kind and seemed like they were trying their best, but still. They also have few-to-no actual vegetarian options — definitely check the menus before coming in if this is a concern.

Excellent food, large quantities. Wine tasting: 3 half glasses of your choice of three wines for $15 – yummy wines. Outside seating upstairs with view and very large patio. Large bar. One of the top 3 restaurants in McMinnville. From a local. Ask for Cindy. Also check out “The Cliff House” Airbnb – excellent, too!

Service staff did their job but was not very personal. My burger was not good, the edges were charcoal like and the bun was not edible as it was rock hard. My friend ordered the snake river Wagyu and has the feeling it’s not Wagyu as it wasn’t very good . We definitely won’t be back , maybe we just came on an off night .
