Hands down best eating experience the Clemson/Pendleton area has to offer. Weekly rotating menu with some of the most delicious food options and amazing service. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable on food and drinks. Excellent wine selection to go with each meal.

It’s rare that of 5 dishes, we’d order every one again. Also, it was impossible to rank our dishes, as every one was delightful.

Attended a wine dinner. Food was excellent and the pairings were good. We’ve never had a bad experience at 1826.

Great restaurant .we showed up without a reservation, was seated in about 15mins. outside. The waitress was top notch, very knowledgeable. Recited the menu, and gave her recommendations when asked. My wife ordered the sangria to drink, she said it was fantastic. I ordered the catfish and grits, she ordered the pork belly. Both came out quickly and were phenomenal! Will be making a return trip soon! Pendleton has some great local restaurants in the square. Worth the trip!

My first visit here was fantastic! I throughly enjoyed the meal and appetizer. This place changes their menu regularly so you can’t really get a meal specific recommendation.

Had the Rabbit hash and grits! Awesome. The Shrimp and watermelon appetizer along with the pimento cheese was an excellent start. Had the Cabernet. Service was great too. Servers very attentive and great advice!

We were refused a table since we didn’t have a reservation. I pointed out to the hostess that it was 4:30 pm and nobody was sitting at any of the tables. Nobody. My friend’s daughter went to college with the chef and said we should be there at 4:30. Absolutely vacant stare from the hostess. Weir

Always a nice treat. This place has some excellent options and we love everything here. The locally sourced menu changes regularly so if you have any dietary restrictions (or preferences) you will need to call in advance to ensure they will be able to meet your needs that evening. They have rotating specials that includes a rotating sangria special.

This place is delightful. It’s in a beautiful old building on Pendleton’s cute square. The food is great and they change the menu regularly. The menu when you show up probably won’t be the same as any you find online. But if they do have swordfish… Give it a shot. It’s delicious
