Always a great time at 1808, wait staff is always friendly and prompt! Very clean and the food is delicious. Best Steaks around and I love how they have a lunch special just about every day. Came off the river looking for sit down restaurant. Found a place surprise with 1808 Public House! They have a salad bar with fresh ingredients! Good choices of food, we had several different delicious sandwiches between us. Great service throughout our meal. Recommend for a good meal!

This place is exactly what Doniphan needed. They have done an incredible job restoring this building, creating a place to enjoy delicious food, full bar, and live music. The food is delicious! My favorite things I have tried so far are the hot bbq wings, ribeye, and the shrimp scampi. They also have rotating craft beers on draft and an extensive cocktail menu. If you haven’t checked it out yet, get out and support this amazing local business!

A bit of disappointment! Table hasn’t been cleaned off , over priced food ! small portions! may not ever return ! All though the burger I had was good my wife ordered a club it’s was good to no real good taste bland same on the burger I can do that at home , the fries were the star attraction!

Really wanted to like this restaurant. Have heard such great things about the food but after me and my family ate here last night for the first time we don’t think we will be back. Service was the worst. Several servers stood around in the back by the bar area, but only two I saw running around actually working. The hostess at the front was also our waitress, taking all call in orders and bussing tables as well. I honestly felt bad for her she seemed very overwhelmed. It was not her fault for our poor service as she seemed to be doing several people’s jobs even though there were several people there who could be helping her. The female owner even came by and asked if we needed anything my mother asked for a refill because no one else had came by for quite awhile for us to ask, she said of course and we never saw her again. After 20 minutes of waiting for the refill, my mother’s husband just decided to walk back there with his cups to all the workers just standing around by the bar area and asked for the refill. They were out of some entrée items, and we weren’t told until after attempting to order the items. So instead of the items they were out of I wanted to order the build your own chicken sandwich but was then informed each topping is an additional 50 cents even just for some mayo on it the server said…. so it should not be called “Build your own” with it already costing over 12 dollars and all you get for that price apparently is a piece of chicken on a bun… so we all decided on the French dips since at least cheese on it was included in that price. They were ok but for the price I was expecting at least better quality than fast food. The fries were pretty disappointing as well. The salad bar was a good value, but some of the items could have looked a bit more fresh, such as the lettuce, some turned bits in it. Also, at the end of our meal, my mother was overcharged, and when asking for an itemized receipt, the situation didn’t seem to be handled very professionally. Eye rolls and huffs and puffs while the overworked waitress/hostess went to go find a manager to help us. Again understandable because of how stressed out she probably was but again it’s the owner/managments job to make sure everything is ran so things like one worker doing everyone else’s job while they stand and watch the band on stage, isn’t a problem to begin with. So all in all, it was subpar food. The service was serverly lacking, and for the prices, I was expecting at least higher quality than fast food and definitely at least decent service.
