One of the most legit Mexican restaurants in southern Maine, period. Really good food and great service. Vegetarian options, great drink selection, and everything is fresh and made in a typical way. A hell of a lot more authentic than many of the popular restaurants around here. We had veggie fajitas and tacos al pastor and carne asada. Everything was delicious

We’ve ordered takeout from this establishment a couple times as we live close by and it’s convenient. We really wanted to like and support a new restaurant in this location. Unfortunately, each time we ordered, they have given us wildly incorrect dishes.

Not sure what happened with the name change (and apparent management change), but the food portions are definitely smaller and expensive for what you get. I ordered a chicken fajita—it came with four strips of green pepper, some onions plus small bits of chicken and beef. Had to request soft taco shells—begrudgingly brought 3. Otherwise served with rice and beans. No guacamole or sour cream or anything else usual for a fajita. Especially for the price of $18!

Excellent! Just ate there and we all loved our meals. The kids got hard tacos and ate all of them. My father got the Diablo burrito and I got the fajita quesadilla. All great. Caliente margarita and jalapeño are great.

Decided to try a new to us place and gave 1800 Mexican a go. There are a lot of lackluster Mexican (tex-mex really) places in Maine, so we were expecting decent. The food was actually excellent! Not as spicy as I would like, but the hot sauce fixed that right up, lol. I could have asked for more spice too. The rice had amazing flavor and wasn’t bland at all.
