We were seated at a table directly next to the bar. Our server was great. My burger was really good. My husband had the fried chicken special and it came out cold. They did take it back and warm it up. My cousin had, I believe, a Chicken Alfredo. It too was cold. They both said their chicken was also flavorless. Overall, the prices seemed high and it will be awhile before we consider going back

My wife and I went out to lunch with her grandpa the other day. This was the first time we had ever eaten at this restaurant. First impressions were great! The place was very clean and quiet. My wife wound up knowing our waitress, so that made the whole experience better! The waitress, Jade, was very attentive and patient. The food was definitely worth the price! We absolutely plan on eating here again when we’re in town.

This review is based of two different nights. The first night we went for prime rib. The service was good, but the food was just OK. The escargot was delicious, and the berry tiramisu was phenomenal. However, the prime rib was just alright, there were pin bones in the walleye filet, and the mashed potatoes were terrible. The second night we came we sat in the bar area and it was very busy. That being said, our server Savannah did an excellent job and she was very hard working! This time we ordered the catfish and it was great! Overall, I would come back for the catfish, but probably not the “fine dining”.

This restaurant was recommended by a local over the well-known place we went the first night we were in town (where our experience was not 5-star). We were very pleased by the entire experience and came back again the next evening. The portions were large, the drinks stout, the wine was an ample pour, and both the food and service was excellent. Just a really good fit for what we had in mind. Ted was a fine waiter and very attentive, and the hostesses were friendly and extra helpful. Good times!

Food was completely unremarkable. Ordered the nightly special for the day, “Crispy Fried Chicken.” Served with mashed potatoes and gravy. Chicken was the only thing named correct. It was cold, limp and was sent back. I assume it was throw in a microwave. Came back out smoking hot, but still lifeless, flavorless, but edible. If that is what passes for their “special,” I would absolutely hate to see their average. One other in or party had another chicken dish, pretty much the same result. Not a lot of flavor, room temperature. However, the burger that seemed made to order was perfect. Tons of flavor, cooked exactly as ordered.

Since 2012 my husband and I have been coming here and always enjoyed our meals. Last night we had the worst service we’ve ever experienced here! The only time we saw our server was when she brought our food! We ordered right away and waited a long time for our drinks, another lengthy time for bread, and then she brought our salads with our entrees. When she brought one table their drinks, she set them all on the table and they had to sort them out among themselves!

Asked to sit at bar, told it was full- there were open seats. Ordered walleye and ribeye steak – both were not good. Walleye was not eaten, ribeye not cooked or seasoned well. Took forever to get drinks. Asked by server and host how food was – politely said it was not good. We paid bill in full – which was pricey considering food and service poor. Will not return or recommend to others, it was a poor expenditure on our part and business did not care at all that food and service was so poor.

What a great place. Food was amazing and large portions. Service was top notch. We went in underdressed for sure! Will be going back soon. Mediterranean chicken with goat cheese could not have been better. Spinach salad with chicken was the best with warm bacon dressing. WOW!!

When we arrived, we followed the signs to the area to seat ourselves. We sat at the bar. There was only one server that I could see, and also a hostess or something. After about 5 minutes, the server said someone would be with us shortly. Ok….we waited patiently. No water at this point, but we did snag a menu from the unbussed seat a couple down from us. After another 7 to 8 minutes, the server came very close to us. I said..please take our order now. She said someone will be right with you. She proceeded to take the order of the 4 top behind us. She had just dropped off their appetizers. So 2 people waiting for approx 15 minutes by this time with no service whatsoever and a 4 top getting their order taken while they eat their apps. I was determined not to be snarky and so we waited. Eventually, we got our order taken and the food was quite good!!!! I get she was in the weeds, but she did not understand basic priorities and was a bit snarky herself. Seems like a simple training issue. We will give it another shot based on the food.
