The deviled egg appetizer was good, but nothing to write home about…the brussel sprout appetizer was okay but quite greasy… The brussel sprouts were browned and the pork belly was not too fatty but we wouldn’t order either again. The burger was phenomenal, tender and charred. It came with homemade potato chips but they were quite bland and flavorless. I don’t even think there was any salt on them. my friend said the tomahawk pork chop with vegetables was fantastic also. The carrot cake was homemade, really great and something we would definitely order again. The cream cheese frosting was so good and the texture was nice and dense, not whipped. We had dinner on a Wednesday and all of the food came out pretty quickly and the service was great. The restaurant is quite small and cramped. We reviewed this restaurant 3 years ago and it was absolutely horrible, service was terrible and the food was awful, it was one of the lowest rated restaurants that I had reviewed at that point, so it’s nice to see that they really improved this place drastically! We’ll be going back again. The parking lot for the restaurant is super tiny so if you go on a weekend plan on trying to find parking on the street.

Such a great atmosphere and delicious food!!! I loved the unique appetizers that you don’t typically see at other restaurants. They were so good! The homemade desserts were scrumptious!

One of the best meals I’ve had in a long time! My husband and I sat at the bar and thoroughly enjoyed our experience. The ambiance was excellent, a perfect amount of noise and excellent cocktails. We started with the crispy Brussels sprouts which were out of this world. For dinner I chose the butternut squash soup and beet salad. My husband got the short rib sandwich on Kim me weck. Overall everything was excellent. We WILL be back!

It’s definitely my new secret place. Scallops, shrimp and grits was amazing. Deviled eggs are to die for, and bison burger was out of this world!!!

We had a great time and experience sitting outside with friends. Service with a mattress named Maya was fast and friendly. Everyone loved their food and there is a great selection of local micro brews available. I had a coffee stout and nitro coffee porter both of which were amazing. For dinner my wife had the portobello sandwich and the pear salad and she loved them. Note, those are probably the only vegetarian options. I had the catfish wich was along with it’s pretzel roll. The beef on weck wings were good, not amazing. The ice cream scoop dessert are woefully small. Not even enough for a kiddie portion but people enjoyed what they had. My wife and I eat mostly vegetarian or vegan so we won’t be going regularly but would definitely meet friends there again for dinner!

We had a party of 16 and had a private room upstairs with its own air conditioner. Great service. The first floor was packed, but we got our food in a reasonable time. Very nice bar where we stayed for drinks afterward.

The staff are nice in a wholesome/honest way. Everyone who works there seems to enjoy their job. You can’t get a bad meal here. Everything on the menu is savory. I’ve gone there twice now (2 years apart), and I have nothing but good things to say. Prices do reflect an up scale restaurant as with carte blanche and the grange, however the food and drinks are worth the price. I hope this restaurant operates for years to come.

Still my favorite restaurant in Buffalo. Food and service are both excellent. My favorite is the crispy deviled eggs and anything with mezcal mixed up by the bartenders. Always such a fun place.

My first time at Daniels! We ate outside on the patio October 7th! It was a lovely, quiet evening and as it was unseasonably warm we relished the opportunity to eat outside. I ordered the swordfish with passion fruit pink peppercorn reduction and black rice and my dining companion had the small plate of chicken fried chicken. Both entrees were delicious and for dessert I had the goat cheese cheesecake with peaches and he had the chocolate molten cake…both were outstanding. I would definitely recommend this restaurant
