My husband tried this place on a Saturday night and were very pleased. We made reservations so we were set immediately. Our server’s name was Brendon and he did a wonderful job with his recommendations and service. We started with Duckbill tacos for appetizers and they were so good! I got the seafood enchiladas and they were so flavorful! The squash and zucchini had such a great flavorful as well as the black beans. My husband got the El Chicano and loved it! The steak was full of flavor and he really enjoyed it. Then we topped it off with the fried ice cream which was so good. The atmosphere was very casual and laid back. The room got a little loud the more crowded that it got, so if you are looking for a quiet dinner, this may not be the place, but it wasn’t too bad. Would recommend to others and look forward to going back and trying some more of the unique dishes that they offer.

The fajita steak salad was amazing. The tuna ceviche was almost perfect however a few bites were extremely fishy. My taco salad was good but needed a little something to make it great. Service was prompt and professional but not particularly informative about the food. Really wanted to give a 4 . The food is beautifully presented.

A must come for semi casual dining experience. Need a date night spot? This is the perfect place and a great location to take a stroll after dinner.

The portions of the tacos were excellent. I had three different types and all were delicious in their own rights. Mixed cocktails were priced average and were made as well. If you like pork, I would recommend trying any of their pork dishes. The meat is juicy and very well seasoned.

My experience started bad when me and my family entered the restaurant and no-one even looked at us,I addressed the bar tender and told her we needed a seat, she said wait a minute. Minutes past and I addressed her again, and she gave us a table but not without showing her discontent. It was 5 pm and there was some tipsy people already in the bar and something not so legal was going I there ( I will not go into details) . Finally when we got our food, what a disappointment! I got the Cuban steak with coconut rice, the petition was like for my 8 years old child, the steak was cooked well, but had no flavor at all, the dish comes with fried yuca which were some sad dry sticks( for the kitchen: yuca needs to be parboil before it is fried) , the beans are watery and bland. All that food tasted like something you would give to a person who is in a hospital diet, the only good thing I that plate was the avocado and fry plantain. My dad got grilled chicken, with rice, the same story! Dry chicken, all food was bland! My husband got a Mexican plate, and the only good thing was the cheese enchilada, all food was bland too. I have to say our server was the best! Very sweet , attentive, and with great attitude. We will not be back at this place! Worse $60 invested on a meal! For the price of your food, it was not good at all.

This rating is based on my second visit. I had the Cochinita Pibil. It was made with BEEF. Brisket. I asked why beef? They told me it was pork. Lol. I make this dish at home. I have been schooled on making it by two great Mexican chefs. Pork doesn’t turn dark brown and taste like brisket.

Shannon was wonderful, nice and kind! Food was so good. A little spicy on the Pollo Mango Mojo for me but still delicious. The Cochinito Pibil “Mayan Pulled Achiote Pork” was AMAZING!! I Was sad they ran out of Tres Leches so I’ll have to go back to try that another time!
