Finally checked out this beautiful Diner! I found this place on the map when I first started (dog) sitting in this area, but I was too overwhelmed with work to go. I think a part of me was tired of taking myself out alone to nice places, too (my ex was pretty lackluster, but I digress). My Husband had the Florentine Benedict, and I had a Benedict with a CRAB CAKE ON IT Sorry if that’s a normal thing around here, it’s a first for me. The pancake was a carrot cake pancake with cream cheese (we used the butter with the cream cheese), the maple syrup we agreed would have been too much. The staff seemed a little short-staffed, but they were definitely working hard, and everyone was taking turns helping people! They seemed happy to see us when we came in, too. Even the coffee was better than average We would definitely come back.

Wow! For a reasonable Seattle price, this place was great as a brunch/late lunch spot. Had the eggs Benedict (pesto) and was blown away. It was so delicious, I cleaned my plate off, as did all of my friends with their versions.

This is a hard one. Some of my American friends really like this place, but for me, and most of my foreign born colleagues it’s mediocre at best. Coffee I got on the flight to Seattle this morning was better than what they serve here, hamburger was worse than Denny’s, tasteless floppy fries, just not very good. Service was good but not particularly inviting.

Cozy little diner in the heart of Eastlake. All-day breakfasts, and standard American fare during lunch hours, with a few Greek items to mix things up.

This place was amazing! You have to try the 14 Carrot Pancake with the cream cheese frosting! We got the california eggs benedict which was their special of the day. We also got the farmers breakfast with veggie sausage. The coffee was amazing! The service was amazing. The Jelly on the table is also a must try! Highly reccomend! Vegetarian options.

My lower review is purely based on one thing: their bacon is dry, pre-cooked bacon.

I went on a quiet weekday morning and got the monte cristo – delicious! I also love their benedicts, pancakes (orange poppy seed or pumpkin), and cinnamon rolls. Great food, great service, friendly staff.

14 Carrot Cafe is located just down the street from my home on Eastlake. I have wanted to check this place out for awhile now but based on the operating hours it has never met my schedule. Recently, my wife and I were vacationing in Arizona and we flew home extremely early the other day. I realized that this was finally my chance to stop by 14 carrot on the way home and get some grub. One thing I always complain about living downtown Seattle is there is never restaurants that feel mom and pop like. I come from a small town growing up and this is something important that I miss. Everyplace in downtown is so modern or tries to be trendy and this isn’t always the best especially for breakfast. 14 Carrot Cafe was immediately the place I’ve been looking for!

This place has been on my list for some time. Went in around 9:30 am and got a table quickly. They serve their own spice blend tea, which I thought was pleasant. Carrot cake and pumpkin pancakes were divine! Just the right amount of sweetness. Also got the breakfast Cubano sandwich that was just all the right flavors, and the biscuits and gravy. No pictures because I was about done when I realized The biscuits and gravy were all right, nothing that really stood out. But overall, service was quick and staff were friendly. I’d go back and try other things on their menu.
