My buddies and I randomly selected 12 Farms while driving on the turnpike (going home from the Belmont Stakes) and are quite glad we did. Two of us had burgers (the OG) and the special (like the OG but with blue cheese), one had the cheese plate and one the seafood platter and farm skillet. We all left quite full and really impressed. They made room for us even though they were hosting 3 different showers, and provided us with pleasant and attentive service from start to end. I’d highly recommend it if stopping through Hightstown or looking for a place to stop off the turnpike. As others posted, my only concern is the cash only aspect, particularly given the price of some items, but the four of us were very well fed for maybe $120 or so.

Absolutely fantastic! The Jersey Heirloom tomato panini was to DIE FOR! The lovely waiter had mentioned in the past, they tried to take it off the menu. PLEASE DON’T. It was so incredible, and it’s the entire reason I made the trip to your resturant. I saw it on the menu, and I couldn’t resist. It was fantastic I added arugula and the waiter suggested adding eggs to it as well. The arugula and eggs were the icing on the cake. The eggs were a bit runny, just as I had asked and hoped for. The bacon was nice and crispy. The side greens salad with watermelon was so refreshing. All the microgreens…and sunflower shoots? In the side were also the perfect delicate and delicious touch. Thank you so much! The only downside was that they only take cash. But there is an atm across the street. Thank you! I will be back again for that yummy sandwich, I already want to eat here again!

We had an absolutely amazing experience here. Loved the tasting menu. Each dish was seasoned exceptionally well and presented in the most artistic way. The staff was wonderful and extremely knowledgeable about the ingredients and preparation of each dish, too. We’ll definitely be back here. This is a BYOB and you get complimentary still or sparkling water. Cash only.

Visiting from DC, and this restaurant is absolutely lovely!!! Giving me such elegant and classy vibes just like back home in DC! I grew up in this town and am blown away by the ambiance! This restaurant is uplifting Hightstown and its’ community and I am SO happy and proud of this exceptional establishment. Andrew has shown the best smile and service which is completely unmatched. 12 Farms is consistently delicious! I love the creativity of their menu. But don’t be intimidated! The friendly staff is extremely knowledgeable about the menu and the food always turns out uniquely scrumptious. The waiters are phenomenal and always make us feel welcomed and valued.

Just amazing. Needed to pull off the turnpike for some lunch and am so glad I did. A true farm to table (hence the name) with real local producers. Had a split pea and crispy duck soup followed by a perfectly made and substantial grilled cheese with bacon. Special shout out to Vanity for making me feel welcome. Just note it is cash only.

Twelve farms is a hidden gem, marrying the charm and coziness of a small, quaint, family-run business with the presentation, attention to detail, inventiveness, and quality of a high-end Michelin star restaurant. The food is absolutely superb, and I cannot think of a better restaurant anywhere in Jersey. In fact, I would say it is the best value restaurant I have been to in my entire life. I wish they served cappuccinos, but who cares when they serve duck grilled cheese with a fresh salad adorned with pomegranate seeds, orange peels, and a delicious vinaigrette. Their wild board benedict is incredible, as are their scones. Come to this place for brunch and you will be as shocked and enamored with it as I was when I first came over a year ago.
