Great watering hole right on the border. You have to get off the highway a short distance to find it, but well worth it. Friendly locals and cold beer makes for a nice respite on a long trip.

Was on a cross country road trip when I stopped here for some lunch. Had a burger with extra pickles (which they came through on!). Also couldn’t pick a side so they offered up a sampling of all of them! Super kind and friendly folks here. Definitely stop in!

It is called the Crazy Beaver now. Out of the way, perfect place for a detour on a road trip. Got some biker bar style but still a family restaurant.

We stumbled across this nice bar and grill on our way to Taos. Bridget was a great waitress. The burrito was big and good, and the $3 Bud light was also very refreshing. We will visit the 101 bar and grill every time we pass near this place.

Decent New Mexican food but the music was extraordinary. They are experimenting with live music once a week, not always at the same time. But it is first rate. We heard Xhris Allerano and his brother, some e of northern New Mexico’s best. These afternoon shows are apparently alcohol free, but later it’s a bar as well. Very off the beaten path and with the music well worth the effort, even if, like me, you like wine.

No longer called the Crazy Bever (shame since the name was what drew us to it). In transition to being the 101 Bar & Grill so no liquor license when we visited. Food was good and staff were very friendly.

Some friends took us to this place for the 1st time at war from Oklahoma. The food is great, they had entertainment that was awesome and the friendly feel thats makes you feel at home.
