Father’s Day 2023, we discovered this gem by accident. We ate dockside and enjoyed the beautiful view and fresh air. The 3 of us ordered the fish & chips and were not disappointed. The fish was delicious, flaky and plentiful. The fries were delicious too. However we had ordered truffle Parmesan fries for an appetizer and they were amazing. Drinks were perfect. The staff is so friendly and accommodating. Our server was Shelby and she was amazing!! Thoughtful, friendly and funny. She made the entire experience even more enjoyable. If you go to 1Ferry Wharf Wednesday thru Sunday, ask for Shelby, you won’t be disappointed. I plan on going back soon and trying the Salmon next.

This place is a fantastic hidden gem!! Right on the water in Jamestown on The Wharf!! The food was excellent from the appetizers to the main course and even their dessert was incredible even though we were full already. January our server was fantastic, friendly and kept the drinks coming which were also delicious!! Jerry the Chef came out and checked on us throughout our meal and truly knows how to put together a plate!! My boyfriend, his friend and I will definitely be back!! Best part is they say they are open year round!!

Went here with a neighborhood crew of six to enjoy the recently re-opened 1 Ferry Wharf. We were there for an early dinner. The waitstaff was very attentive and prompt. The manager was amazing–introducing us to the menu and some special options, and expediting the wine service. We enjoyed the wine selection–it’s a short list but it covered all of our desires completely. Our meal was excellent. On top of that, here is a magnificent spot right on the harbor. A place to catch a breeze in the shade or sun, and to enjoy the beautiful Jamestown sights, and grab a reasonably priced bit to eat.

Great service, amazing food, the location, everything just goes very well together. We took or order to go but was able to enjoy the place while we were waiting. Very friendly staff, the kitchen is awesome, because it is open and we can watch the chef and his team cooking. There is an ice cream place right outside next door that belongs to the restaurant. The food was delicious and fresh. We are for sure coming back and next time will be to enjoy our lunch/dinner on the outside area. Try the fish tacos and the calamari.

I love this place. It has a great location. The food is great. However, I cannot say the same about the service. I dined here last weekend. The server brought our food but then we had to wait 10 minutes for utensils. Water was brought to our table. We also had to wait 10 minutes for cups. The server did not return my card after I paid. I had to drive back from providence to retrieve my card. I rarely post negative reviews. I was a server once and I know it can be difficult to manage but I found the service to be unacceptable.

We arrived to this place and a white couple in front of us were seated outside because the inside was closed for a private event. When it was our turn, the hostess came back and said we had to wait 15minutes to get a table outside. So we asked if we can get a drink at the bar, and we were directed to the bar outside. There were clearly open tables outside. At the bar, the two waitresses were talking about where to have us sit and drink. Then a man came out and rudely said “What’s going on here”. Then he proceeded to yell that we couldn’t stand where we were because it’s a private event. Never have I felt unwelcomed in an establishment until today.

Not welcoming: my friends and I called ahead and were told by the proprietor that we could get a table on the deck. Got there and were told we’d have to wait 15 minutes to be seated. She was at least kind. Upon another look from the proprietor, however, and “what’s going on here,” 15 minutes became 45 minutes. We left and spent our money elsewhere.
