This is the place to go if you are looking for fresh authentic pasta/Italian food on a budget. It is true gem located in the heart of Inver Grove Heights. The servers are always friendly and approachable. As far as I know, I have been told the pasta noodles are made fresh daily.YUM!! For our appetizer, we had some calamari. It was fresh and crisp.. just thinking about it is making me hungry again. The pasta was flavorful and the texture was so silky/rich. To top off our main, we were enlightened with delicious CREME BRULEE made to perfection!! All in all, it was definitely a bang for my buck 🙂 I know I’ve read some posts about the price being on the higher end and all I have to say to that is… you get what you pay for. If you are looking for quality vs quantity, it’s worth giving it a shop. If you are looking for quantity rather than quality, just head on over to noodles and company for your quick fix.

Absolutely delicious! It is a quaint little showdown restaurant. The staff was good. The food was amazing. I got moscato with lasagna and an order of bread. It all tasted phenomenal! Highly recommend checking it out. There is no kids menu, but I was still able to find something for him to eat, plus the server was very willing to work with me to figure it out.

Sister restaurant of La Grolla, so you know it’s gonna be good. The calamari was greasy. But everything else was good.

Walking in, we were immediately greeted by our server who was very courteous and had a very fun and upbeat attitude. We did have to wait a few minutes for the high chair, and our drinks, and for our order to be taken but it was understandable since there were people constantly coming in to order To Go. I didn’t manage to get a picture but we did have drinks and we had this amazing bread bowl that was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside covered in Parmesan cheese and seasoning, that was one of my favorite parts. Likes about this restaurant is that when you walk in you don’t expect it to be as fancy and as sophisticated as it actually is. There’s a bar area and a sitting area. The food was perfection with one exception. As you can see below I had the lasagna it was perfect, we had the make your own pasta bowl which was fettuccine Alfredo with chicken and then there was another dish that I could not take a picture of in time. The exception was the burger that my brother ordered, it was ordered medium rare which looked like it was served raw. It was perfection on the first bite the outside was nicely seared but the inside looked like heat haven’t even gotten to it, it looked like raw ground beef. A little spendy for MY taste but pasta was well worth the price. All in all I think this is a good place, I would definitely come back here for a special occasion with family, as you can see my nephew had a great time, but might not order the burger again.

Staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is casual but the food is still very delicious and high end like. My customized spaghetti had good amount of shrimp and portion. And make sure to try their dessert!! Highly recommend it!

Was there for the first time a couple weeks ago and food was of excellent quality, service was great. My wife had spaghetti she said was really good and I had a great tasting Philly steak and cheese but it was maybe a little small for the price.

Stopped in for lunch. Started with side salads. Ingredients were fresh, and the balsamic dressing was tasty. Spouse and I split a pizza, which was delicious. Atmosphere was clean and bright, and the staff was courteous. We plan to return for good Italian food in a casual, friendly atmosphere.

We just got back from Italy… and this is absolutely the closest you’re gonna get in the twin cities. Prices are good (some specials were $19.50 which is kinda spendy) but portions are good enough for two on some plates. Wine was very good quality. Bread, oil and vinegar was delicious too! Wish they would choose different color for the dining room but other than that, the bar and chalkboard with the different explanations of wine was very helpful.
