Really cool new authentic Busan Korean food in the area! The atmosphere is self-service with a touch screen. The staff was friendly and spoke some English. This place took the location if Samurai Ramen FYI so there’s leftover old reviews.

We ordered Daegee Gukbab and it was really good! Good amount of meat and broth with banchan (side dishes). Clean facility.

It was really tasty.. Definitely recommend the pork and rice soup. The sundae and rice soup, I don’t recommend it since I only saw 2 sundae in the soup. It is bit pricey as well

Really like the pork, very tasty and good quality meat. Octopus green onion pancake is just okay. Gukbap tastes good, very soothing esp in cold winter.

This place has rebranded itself over the years. Today you get authentic Korean cuisine, mainly as soups with rice and banchan. Delicious; mostly self-service and no tipping requested.

The gukbaps are good in general, because it is their specialty. I’ve also tasted their jeyuk bokkeum (stir fried spicy pork) and buchimgae (Korean pancake with squid and chives). The spicy pork is really spicy, so don’t challenge it if you’re not used to spicy food. (But you’ll love it if you do like Korean spicy food.) The pancake is also very nice, crispy on the outside but moist inside.

My husband and I visited a samurai ramen restaurant for the second time during our trip. Our first impressions were so good that we went back with high expectations. We ordered Shiho ramen, Spicy Ton Kotsu ramen, and Chicken Karaage. My husband, who doesn’t eat spicy pork, ordered Shiho ramen, and the soup was clean and protein, so he ate half of the soup as soon as he started eating. The noodles are chewy and go well with the various toppings, so it didn’t take long to eat a bowl. I ordered Spicy Ton Kotsu ramen, and it was thick and flavorful because the broth had been simmered for a long time. Chicken Karaage served as an appetizer was crispy, and the texture was pleasant while eating. It was our second visit, and this time it became a happy memory. It is highly recommended for those who are considering a visit.
